From the very beginning, mom showed unwavering strength, presence, and determination. Meeting each moment with courage and grace. Birth asks a lot, and she met it fully.

Extremely grateful for Katie - we can't recommend her enough. From the beginning, she made me feel safe, supported and empowered. She was such a calming presence and seemed to always know exactly what I needed. It felt like my husband and I had known her for years from the first time we met - that feeling was really important to me since she would be along side us for one of life's biggest moments.

What stood out to me the most was how much education she provided and how she kept us informed during the whole process. This was my first pregnancy/labor and it seemed daunting before we hired Katie. Her knowledge, compassion, and steady support made such a difference in how I felt in late pregnancy, labor and postpartum.

Birth doesn’t always follow a schedule and neither does supporting it. I was called to this birth in the early morning hours while the middle of supporting a postpartum family. I'm always so thankful for my postpartum families and their complete trust and understanding during the birth process. Especially since they had recently been through the process recently themselves.

This labor began quietly in the late-night hours and built throughout the mornining with incredible strength. Even deep into labor, mom was focused, steady, and fully in her zone; trusting her body every step of the way.

There’s so much happening in this photo and yet, so little.
A blood pressure cuff. A bed. A moment before relief.

In the middle of monitors, medications, and big decisions, there was this.

His hand in hers.
Resting on her knee.
Quiet. Steady. Unwavering.

In that moment, as contractions rolled through and vulnerability filled the room, he grounded her simply by holding on. No fixing. No rushing. Just presence.

Birth doesn’t always look how we imagine it will.
Sometimes strength is choosing support.
Sometimes love looks like staying fully, tenderly, when it matters most.

These are the moments I never forget.

Baby Girl L arrived on a day already full of meaning, 10/21/2025 🤍 This was not only this sweet girls birthday but also the 25th wedding anniversary for my husband and I.

Labor unfolded strongly and steadily at home, with mom listening closely to her body until it was time to head in. A beautiful reminder that home labor can be powerful, intuitive, and deeply grounding.

So honored to witness this birth — on a day that will forever hold extra love for me as well.

Baby Girl V came into the world with speed and a whole lot of excitement! I arrived at 10:15, her water broke at 10:18, the midwife walked in at 10:30… and by 10:50 this powerful mama was holding her baby girl in her arms.
A beautiful, whirlwind home birth that reminded us all that babies come exactly when they’re ready.

Some births ask us to dig deeper than we ever imagined we could. This mama did exactly that. Hours upon hours of steady courage, unwavering determination, and so much heart led to the arrival of sweet Baby C at 4:31am on 9/26/25. It was an honor to witness her strength shine through every moment of this long journey. Welcome to the world, little one.
