This beautiful patient in her 20s saw one of our IG posts and said, “I want that.” She first learned about us through her friend and our colleague .aesthetics
During her consultation, she shared that even at her optimal weight, the area under her chin never had a distinct angle. She also noticed that in family photos, many relatives had the same neck shape—so she knew where hers was headed if she didn’t intervene. She was excited to finally address her biggest insecurity.
We took her to the operating room, where we placed a chin implant for added projection and performed an extended deep necklift. The latter involves a small incision under the chin (the same incision used to place the implant) and additional incisions around the earlobe and behind the ear. This is an excellent option for younger patients who don’t have facial laxity but do have a congenitally full or undefined neck and submental area.
She is pictured here just two months after surgery—and she’s loving her new shape.
