May is Better Speech and Hearing Month! If your child has a communication disorder, you know the challenges they face daily. But it's not just about speaking or hearing. Communication disorders can impact your child's social interactions, academic performance, and even their mental health. Seek guidance from a speech-language pathologist or audiologist and encourage your child to practice communication skills outside of therapy. By consistently practicing these skills, your child can build confidence and improve their ability to communicate effectively. Communication is fundamental, and it's essential for children to develop strong communication skills early in life. Let's use this month to raise awareness about the importance of good communication and work towards improving the lives of children with communication disorders.
