🌟 Staff Spotlight: Lisa Adams 🌟

Today we’re recognizing Lisa Adams, our Assistant Director and Activity Director, for the incredible work she does for our community.

Lisa works hard to ensure our residents have activities that are meaningful, engaging, and purpose driven. She’s thoughtful in everything she plans, and it shows in the smiles and participation we see every day.

She’s also the person who will step in without hesitation when a shift needs to be covered or when someone needs a hand. Lisa consistently goes above and beyond—quietly, reliably, and with a heart for our residents.

✨ Thanksgiving Luncheon at Maple Cottage Transitions ✨

The holidays are right around the corner, and we’ve already begun celebrating! Yesterday, our residents and their families gathered for a beautiful Thanksgiving luncheon. We opened with prayer and sang gospel hymns together, led by the wonderful Pam Weston, before sharing a delicious meal.

Our menu included turkey, dressing, gravy, green beans, deviled eggs, sweet potato casserole, macaroni and cheese, cranberry sauce, rolls, and—of course—pecan and pumpkin pie for dessert. 🥧🦃

It was a joyful afternoon filled with fellowship, laughter, and gratitude. A huge thank-you to Rhonda, Lisa, and Kaley in the kitchen for coming together and preparing such an amazing meal for everyone! 🍽️💛

We are proud to highlight Rhonda Ladd, LPN, who has been an essential part of Maple Cottage Transitions for over a year. Rhonda serves as our Administrator and is truly the heartbeat of our community.

She is the main point of contact for our residents’ families, ensuring communication and care stay seamless. Rhonda is also one of the friendly faces who welcome prospective families for tours and guides them through the admissions process with care and professionalism.

Her dedication, compassion, and work ethic set the tone for our entire team. Rhonda goes above and beyond every single day to make sure our residents are well cared for and our families feel supported. We are so grateful for her leadership — we truly would be lost without her. 💛

🌿 We’re Growing — and Caring in New Ways! 🌿

Hello friends, family, and neighbors of Portland and the greater Sumner County area! It’s been a while since we’ve posted, and we’re so glad to reconnect with you.

We’re excited to share a big update — Maple Cottage Assisted Living Transitions is now Portland’s only Memory Care community! 💜

As of just a few months ago, we’ve expanded our services to include specialized Memory Care for individuals living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Our goal is to provide compassionate, personalized support in the same cozy, home-like environment you’ve come to know and love.
