Lydia Tate, LAc (she/her)
Acupuncturist
Lydia draws from several modalities to support the health and well-being of her patients. She enjoys combining acupuncture, Chinese herbal formulas, and Shiatsu into the majority of her sessions. A typical treatment may also include techniques such as cupping, moxibustion, and lifestyle guidance. Her goal is always for patients to leave the treatment table feeling refreshed, calm, and empowered in their natural healing process. Lydia tailors each treatment to individual needs and meets patients where they are, while reminding them of their innate resilience and strength.
She attended the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, where she discovered a passion for the dynamic possibilities and treatment styles that Chinese Medicine can provide. Lydia has advanced training in Shiatsu and Tuina styles of bodywork and a deep understanding of herbal medicine. In addition to acute and chronic pain management, she enjoys supporting individuals with mental health concerns, womenβs health, and digestive issues.
When she is not in the clinic, Lydia spends time hiking, backpacking, and exploring the outdoors. She believes Chinese Medicine and nature are deeply connected. When in Portland, she loves biking to local parks or bodies of water, rollerskating, and growing her record collection.
