Emergency contraception ≠ the abortion pill ❌
They’re not the same, and they work very differently.

💊 Emergency contraception: prevents pregnancy by stopping or delaying ovulation. It is taken within 3-5 days after unprotected s*x.
🩺 Abortion pill: ends an existing pregnancy using two medications. Used after pregnancy is confirmed, up to 10 weeks.
