Hello wonderful Oregonians! If it's all just feeling like a little much right now, I feel you, and I would like to help! If you've never done therapy before, come see how nice it can be to talk it out and gain some new insights into yourself. If you've had a bad experience with therapy, join the club, and then, come see me! I promise, I'm only 10% annoying, and 89.9% helpful, and >0.1% funny. Come on, what have you got to lose? Besides crippling depression and anxiety ofc.

As we head jump into the Fall/Winter months, some of us love the vibe (me), and some of us miss the sunshine and fall into depression. Remember, even if summer vibes are your thing, there is beauty all around you! Use your all your senses to help awaken your joy. Take a moment to really smell the crisp air, really taste the cocoa, really touch and feel the soft blankets, and really listen to the leaves rustling in the trees. Close your eyes and let if wash over you. Do this as often as you need. Happiness is only elusive when we tell ourselves its in the future.

Hello all, I just wanted to say to all the Medicaid clients I had to say goodbye to yesterday due to Medicaid budget cuts, I am sorry this is the state of mental health in our country. I will continue to provide trauma-informed services to Oregonians as long as I am able.
If you are in Oregon and you need support, I am still available through telehealth services, and I am (currently) able to accept Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare/UMR, Providence and Pacificsource Commercial, but sadly, I can no longer accept Medicaid/OHP (except CHA).
After the first of the year, if you want mental health services via telehealth, Medicaid is likely going to require that your intake be completed in person, and you must attend an in-person session every 6 months or so. It is possible this requirement may manifest for private/commercial plans as well, but we may not know until the beginning of 2026. This may end my ability to provide service to Oregonians in 2026 as I am physically in Washington.
So, we will see. Please take care of your mental health, and know that while this may seem like a huge step backward, we never know where our paths may lead. Stay grounded, prepare for the worst, but remain in hope for the best. Support one another, and reach out when things get overwhelming.
