Hi! I have fallen off of the Instagram train.

I will inform you of valuable information and tips to start and stay consistent with a new healthy lifestyle.

This topic comes up a lot. I have spoken about it before, but reminders are nice.

🧻We need to go at least once a day if not two.

🧻 If we do not have a full completion, we are constipated.

🧻 When we don't, whatever we eat in the past day stays in our intestines. It can ferment, oxidize, and can start to cause some intestinal permeability.

Staying hydrated is key to getting things moving. In the morning, we have a glass of water with sea salt in it. Try to make this a habit, and your bowls will be on a nice schedule. I personally use , and Mango flavor is my favorite 😍

Have you ever done one of these!?

I have made a couple of them with friends. We had a bunch of magazines and made a night of it. It's super fun and well worth the hours of hanging out and being somewhat crafty.

I kept them for a long time, too! I looked at it every day, and I was able to accomplish some of what I put on there.

Making this one was also fun. I thought about what I wanted to do for my business and what I wanted to incorporate more into my personal life. It's a little sneak peek into what you want in the years to come.

The vision boards are always fun to make, but they are powerful in manifesting what you want.

I wish I could print this one out and hang it up :)

Easier said than done 💁‍♀️
I have been saying I want a morning and evening routine for some time now. First, I was overwhelmed and didn't do it. Then I just slowly stopped wanting to.

I finally got it together! I wanted an evening routine to start. Something easy, like a face washing routine. I got a starter kit from and have been loving it! I then do a little bit of stretching/foam rolling and then read for 10 to 30 minutes. That's it! And it makes me happy.

So far, that is my new routine. I even took all of my skin care stuff when we went on a trip. That let me know that I like it and want to keep it going.

I now set a time to go do my night routine. It is becoming a habit.

Start with something you want to do, something small, and make time for it. Once it becomes a habit and you just naturally do it, add another to it or start another one.

Holidays are right around the corner, and if you want to try something new, these are for you!

These are great alternatives to the norm.

If you are working on your posture or want to see what the fuss is about, try barefoot shoes. I have heard that has a great transition shoe.

If you want to start focusing on your period health, eliminate pads or tampons that are not 100% cotton. You can also get reusable cotton pads and some underwear made with a wool blend.

Athletic clothes are super toxic also. When you wear something made of plastic that is also compressing you, your body doesn't have the chance to expand and breathe. Try wool or cotton items, especially the clothes that are the closest to your skin (bra, underwear, leggings).

Makeup is another item that needs to be made of real ingredients. Mainstream makeup is made of all sorts of chemicals, and those chemicals end up inside our body. Our skin absorbs whatever is put on it and ends up in our bodies.

This holiday season starts with purchasing some new, healthy alternatives rather than the gifts you would normally buy. Your family will thank you.

Do it. Take a bath, read your book, watch your show, bake those muffins, and take your walk

It doesn't have to be complicated 🙂

You will feel happier once you do something for yourself.

This morning, I went to my first morning yoga in a long time. I loved it and am so happy that I made the decision to get up early and go 🧘‍♀️

Thank you, Tabor

🌞 As a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I know change is so terrifying. I am here to guide you through these changes.

We work together to find the root cause of your symptoms:

🚩Bloating

🚩Fatigue

🚩PMS

🚩Congestion

🚩Allergies

🚩Irregular bowel movements

🚩Heartburn

🚩...and more

Nutritional Therapy is not a FAD Diet, it is something you can stick to no matter what. FADs are meant to fade away, but a new lifestyle and relationship with food are here to stay.

Let’s do this together! We can take this leap and leave those debilitating symptoms in the dust!

Spring has been an extended winter, especially here in the Northwest. IDK about you, but it has been taking a toll on me this year. It seems like summer will never come.

I have a few tips/gadgets that can help you get past these next few days or weeks

Red Light Therapy, Sauna, and Full Spectrum Light

These three are super helpful with our circadian rhythm.

We are limited to morning light and natural light in general in the winter months. Not having a natural rhythm of light can mess with our own circadian rhythm.

During the winter months, we rely on unnatural light. We are exposed to Blue light more often, and Red Light helps regulate the damage it can do.

Sleep is important! Getting the right amount, falling asleep, and feeling rested all matter

You do not need to get super fancy with the more expensive lights you can start with a Rubylux or a Therabulb for the Red Light and Infrared therapy. Or if you have a place for a sauna, like a gym or wellness center.  A HappyLight is so far the best I have found for a Full Spectrum Light.

Real sunlight, morning light, less blue light, and normal sleeping patterns will help you through these next few weeks.

Grocery shopping is fun! Well, I think it's fun. You get to wander the store and pick out new items or just the essentials.

These staples are not perfect by any means, but they are pretty damn good.

These are the items I eat weekly. I add more based on what I will be making each week. We are a part of CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), so I only buy a few veggies from the store.

These are what I buy on regular bases:

Eggs - Wilcox
Bacon - Beelers, Campfire
OJ - Evolution, Columbia Gorge
Chocolate Milk - Alexandria A2
Chocolate Bars - Alter Eco
Bucha - GTs
Coco milk - Natural Forest w/no gar
Coco water - C2O
Bone broth - Kettle & Fire, Brothy
Yogurt - Wallabies, Culina
Seltzer- Waterloos, Gotta have some fun
Prosciutto - Applegate
Salami - True Story
Crackers - Simply Mills
Avos - Organic
Carrots (sometimes) - Organic
Oranges - Organic
Apples - Organic
Meat Stick - Nick’s, Epic
Potato Chips - Boulder- Avocado Oil
Ground beef - Marion Acres
Stew Meat- Marion Acres
Chicken thighs, breasts, and thighs - Marion Acres

Seems like a lot, but sometimes I don't need to purchase everything at one time. I love to have my snacks on hand, and I like to have more than enough eggs. You never know when you will want to bake something.

On occasion, I will buy

Wine - Montinore
Cider - Bull Run, Alter Ego
Sourdough - Slow Rise bakery
Cookies -Glutinos
Almond butter- Natural Grocers

Yes, you can indulge a little. I won't hide the fact that I do eat and drink items that may not be good for me. I'm only human 😎

Are you keeping up with the stressful lives we have made for ourselves? Or are you burnt out? And don't know it. We all think being busy is good, but always being busy is tasking on your mind and body.

This added stress of needing to be busy is not suitable for your body systems.

So many of us do not know we are on the verge of major burnout. Why? Because you are running on stress hormones (adrenaline).

Here is an example of a ‘Normal day’;
> The day started in a rush
> You don't eat breakfast, just a coffee and a bite of something
> Don't remember to eat lunch, so you have more coffee or a snack
> Attend a HIIT class to ‘relieve’ the stress of the day
> Eat an easy/small dinner, have some wine, and stay up too late
> Then it goes again, day after day…

Let me tell you, I have been there and done that. I would fill up on coffee, work a physical job, and not eat a meal until after I was done with an intense workout. It took me so long to change my routine, and I didn't notice I was suffering until I stopped living the “Go, go, go” life that everyone ‘Thrives’ off of.

It's not sustainable. You need time to slow down and let your body rest.

If you don't, your body will start to rebel. Your blood sugar regulation will begin to suffer (feeling dizzy upon standing). Your adrenals, Pituitary gland, Thyroid, s*x hormones, and digestion will begin to suffer.

It's a cascading effect of feeling worse and worse. It is hard to see it now, or maybe you do and don't know if you can stop.

You can, with time and the right guidance
