Michael "Mike" Ray Key, 70 of Portland, Tennessee died Monday, November 24, 2025.

Mike was born on January 31, 1955 to the late Johnny Ray Key and Estelle Miller Key.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Beth Payne Key; children, David Ray Key, Charlotte Key-Nguyen and Shane Key ; one grandson, ; son-in-law, Vince Nguyen; siblings, Kay Dickens, Randy Key, Danny Key, sister-in-law, Ginger Key, John Key and Jim Green; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Mike retired from the City of Portland Gas Department after 25 years of valued service.

Mike loved being outdoors, riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his dear friends.

The family has requested a private graveside service for Mr. Key. There will be no public visitation or funeral.

Robert Lee Lancaster, 92 of Bethpage, TN. passed Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Skyline Medical Center. Mr. Lancaster was born on August 29, 1933 in Lebanon, TN to James Lancaster and Annie Mae Woods.

Along with his parents, Mr. Lancaster was preceded in death by his brothers, Freddie Lancaster, James Leslie Lancaster; nephew, Jerry Lee "Peanut" Lancaster; niece, Carla Hall.

Mr. Lancaster is survived by his wife of 69 years, Laura Burnett Lancaster; daughter, Sarah Lancaster; grandson, Jeremy Dustin Austin; granddaughter, Destiny Nicole Austin Strain (Robbie); two great grand babies, Zeke and Eli; sisters, Minnie Williams (Gene) & Sarah Andrews (C.D.); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Lancaster was a member of Rock Bridge Church of Christ, he worked at AVCO for 36 years and graduated from Lebanon High School in 1951.

Funeral service for Mr. Lancaster will be on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Rock Bridge Church of Christ, with visitation on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 4 until 8 p.m. at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home and on Wednesday, November 26th, 2025 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. (funeral time) at Rock Bridge Church of Christ.

Following the funeral service, interment will be in Rock Bridge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rock Bridge Cemetery.

Mary Kathleen Adams (lovingly known as Mary K.), age 81, of Portland, passed away peacefully at Highpoint Health-Sumner in Gallatin, November 14th, 2025, following a serious illness. She was born in Stuttgart, Arkansas on January 1st, 1944, to the late Andrew Miles Gunnell and the late Louise Smith Gunnell.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Adams is preceded in death by her siblings, Peggye Goetz, Sue Berryman, and Andy Gunnell.

Mrs. Adams is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Frank “Bill” Adams of Portland; children, Robin Hess of Portland; Bill “Little Bill” Adams (Julie) of Goodlettsville; and Karen Bogart of Portland; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Rebecca, Rachel, Christopher, Mason, Carson, and Anna; and six great grandchildren, Samuel, Lennon, August, Tor’i, Tatum, and Reggie, Jr.

Mrs. Adams lived in Stuttgart until leaving for Baptist Nursing School in Memphis, Tennessee. After graduating, Mrs. Adams spent 40 years as a registered nurse.

Mrs. Adams and her husband are longtime members of First Baptist Church in Portland, where she was a devoted choir member for many years. Mrs. Adams enjoyed traveling across the country, visiting family, and music.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Mrs. Adams at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 22nd, 2025, at First Baptist Church Portland, with Bro. Greg McCoy officiating.

Visitation for Mrs. Adams will be on Saturday, November 22nd, 2025, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm (service time) at First Baptist Church Portland.

Minnie Lee Thomas, 86 of Portland, TN. passed away on Thursday, November 13th, 2025 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. Mrs. Thomas was born February 20, 1939 to the late Charlie Reed and Margaret Thaxton.

Along with her parents, Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Reed; sister, Linda Templeton and brother, David Reed.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by her daughter, Connie Thrift; son, Terry Thomas; brother, William Reed (Glenda) and sister, Dorothy Cline.

Funeral service for Mrs. Thomas will be on Sunday, November 16th, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Wilkinson Wiseman Funeral Home with Bro. James Parker officiating, with visitation on Saturday, November 15th, 2025 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and on Sunday, November 16th, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. funeral time.

Following the funeral service, interment will be in Rock Bridge Cemetery.

Angel Marie Schafnitt Fisher-Tucker, 48 of Portland, Tn., was born August 11, 1977 at 2:47 p.m. in Enid, Oklahoma to Larry D. Schafnitt and Sandra Lee Schafnitt.

Mrs. Fisher-Tucker attended Adams Elementary, Garber Middle School and Tahlequah, Ok High School.

She married Rick Fisher, and to this union she had her son Braxton and the daughter Amber, this union ended.

She then moved to Portland, Tn. and met Curtis Tucker; the two married and had Rheaghan.

She is survived by her parents, Larry and Sandra Schafnitt of Skiatook, Ok; husband, Curtis Tucker of Portland; daughters, Rheagan and Amber and son, Braxton; mother in law and father in law Dean and Kathie Tucker; sister in law Polly and her husband Scott; brother, Tecumseh Schafnitt(Wendy); sister, Arlene Cramer.

Mrs. Fisher-Tucker was preceded in death by her Grandma Lee and Granda Lee; Great Grandma Hicks and several cousins.

Jean Jernigan Briley age 93 passed away Saturday, November 1st, 2025 at White House Health and Rehabilitation Center. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Hal (Connie)Briley of Portland. Grandchildren , Beth (Jerran) Clifton of Gallatin, Cayla (Dakota) Shrum and Sara (T.J.) Geery both of Portland. Great grandchildren, Blake Wiseman, Briley and Austyn Shrum, and Fallon Geery; Sister, Kay (Johnny) Hackett of Gallatin. Sister-in-law, Audrey Jernigan of Portland. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Melvin Briley. In addition to her husband, her son and daughter-in-law Tab and Cindy Briley ; Parents, Charles and Gladys Jernigan and Brother, Joe Jernigan.

She was a 1949 graduate of Sumner County High School and attended David Lipscomb University. She was a member of Portland Church of Christ for approximately 80 years.

Funeral service for Mrs. Briley will be at 1:00pm on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025 at the Portland Church of Christ with Bud Woodall officiating.

Visitation will be at Wilkinson and Wiseman Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025 from 4-8pm. Visitation will continue at the Portland Church of Christ from 11am until 1pm (service time) on Wednesday, November 5th.

Interment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery.

Aubrey Dewayne Olive, age 81, of Portland, passed away at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN on October 24th, 2025. Mr. Olive was born in Dyer, TN on May 2nd, 1944 to the late Aubrey Olive Sr. and the late Wilma King-Olive.

Mr. Olive is survived by his loving wife, Lavonne Olive of Portland; daughter, Danielle (Mike) Slavin of Brunswick, OH; stepdaughter, Kelly Thornhill of Jefferson, TX; & grandchildren, Allie, Zach, & Max.

David Cobb, age 71, devoted husband and proud father, passed away at his Portland, TN home on October 4th, 2025.

He leaves behind his wife, Sasha Cobb; daughter, Christin Reagan; brother, Steve (Maureen) Cobb; sisters, Karen Cobb and Elaine (Robert) Richmond; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind a large extended family consisting of lifelong friends, everyone at North American Stamping Group, and many brethren- especially those of Portland Church of God of Prophecy. There are countless others whose lives he touched daily through his unwavering belief in God, and his never-ending calm, kindness, joy, and spontaneous laughter. David was a truly wonderful man of many talents. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Barbara Jane Harper, age 90, of Portland, passed away on October 2nd, 2025 at Portland Tristar E.R. She was born on January 16th, 1935 to the late Blonnie George and the late Ethel Emaline Fuqua.

She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. Ma Harper was a sweet, kind, loving person. Anyone who knew her, loved her. Her nickname was Happy Jane because she would come to work every day at GE singing songs. She carried on that tradition with her children and grandchildren by calling and singing happy birthday to them every year. She will be forever missed but resting in peace sheltered by the arms of God.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Harper was preceded in death by sons, Mark Harper, Gary & Larry Harper.
