I had the honor of treating our beautiful Patient Coordinator, Merari.

After a few rounds of dissolving focused on her top lip, we were left with a clean canvas on which I could restore both shape and volume.

Her requests included:
• A sharp, defined Cupid’s bow
• Correcting asymmetry of the top lip
• Flat appearance with tapered sides

Without properly dissolving her pre-existing filler, we couldn’t have achieved these results. Good things come to those who wait.

This treatment combined upper face tox to smooth the forehead and create a subtle brow lift, masseter tox for facial slimming, and neck tox to enhance jawline definition. To complete the look, we added chin and chin shadow filler to improve projection and create a seamless transition through the lower face. The goal was full facial harmony — softening, slimming, and structuring in a way that elevates her natural features.

Facial Balancing to harmonize the face.

Our patients main concern was her nasolabial folds (NLF), and jawline.

When addressing the NLF, we always address the posterior portion of the face before directly injecting into this are. Placing unnecessary amounts of product in a mobile area can lead to an unnatural appearance. Therefore we focused on her temples, and cheeks to reposition the tissue.

We also addressed her cleft chin, and chin shadowing for a more feminine lower face.

This post highlights the work we did together throughout her training — from the demo model to each of her hands-on models. You can see the progression in technique, confidence, and overall results with each set of lips.

I offer two advanced trainings designed to build skill through hands-on experience and intentional technique. My advanced lip training focuses on refined lip shaping and structure, where trainees work on three models after a full demo. My facial balancing training includes a demo model followed by four models, allowing for a deeper understanding of how to create harmony across the face.
