This treatment focused on creating fuller, more defined lips while keeping the result true to her natural features. Strategic placement enhanced the Cupid’s bow, refined the borders, and added volume through the center of the lips to create a plump, balanced shape. The goal was lips that still look like hers — just more defined, hydrated, and enhanced.

Upper face + DAO tox to refresh and rejuvenate

This was my client’s first experience with injectables and she wanted to focus on minimizing the appearance of fine lines/wrinkles in her upper face area.

Using Xeomin, we treated her frontalis, glabella, orbicularis oculi, and DAO muscles.
• The frontalis is responsible for raising the eyebrows
• The glabella pulls the brows medially and downward (furrowing)
• The orbicularis oculi is responsible for closing the eyes
• The DAO muscle pulls the corners of the mouth downward (frowning)

Counteracting the muscle pull in these areas created a smooth, glowy, well-rested appearance that still looks like her.

She came in wanting more definition through the Cupid’s bow with added fullness focused centrally rather than in the outer corners. The goal was crisp borders, enhanced shape, and a subtle boost in the middle of the lips to draw attention to the center. Strategic placement allowed us to maintain balance while creating a more structured, defined look.

The fact that you can just tell this patient is gorgeous by only seeing her lower face is insane!

She came to see me all the way from Seattle. I feel so blessed to have people travel from different states to indulge in our expertise. It was important for her to be top lip focused, while also hydrating the bottom lip but not distorting the ratio from top to bottom. We chose our Russian Lip Technique due to the nature of her goals: Vertical height, a flat profile, enhanced cupids bow.
