Pack Edge Inc. is a 100% employee-owned company providing just in time thermal packaging solutions to customers throughout New England since 1998.
We are looking for a motivated and energetic individual who wants to be an integral part of our customer’s success and help grow our business.
We seek an individual to develop business relationships with our customer’s, CEOs, purchasing agents, and all levels of personnel to provide the best possible packaging products.
You will mentor and coach your sales representatives to confidently engage and make sales with all size customers, from start up to large, helping them to use their knowledge of sustainable packaging to supply these businesses with the products they need to succeed.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Prospect for, and develop leads, for sales representatives, follow through making sure that customer quotes are presented to company decision makers and provide hands on customer service, helping that customer bring his products to the marketplace.
Understand, and be a problem solver to proactively address the customer’s needs.
Help bring new products to market with superior product knowledge, with the ability to show customers how these products benefit them.
Direct and coordinate all sales activities.
Track and analyze all sales representative’s progress.
Monitor all customer’s progress.
Handle and resolve any of the rare customer complaint regarding a product or service.
Set discount rates, update customer pricing, and monitor market pricing for competitor’s goods and services.
Work closely with purchasing and management to ensure that forecasting is realistic
Be an advocate for the company through attending trade shows and industry associations.
Hold weekly sales meetings and update management through Evernote and ensure that sales representatives document sales calls and progress through Evernote.
Requirements
Sales and prior sales management experience.
Highly motivated and able to work alone and with a group.
Excellent communication skills along with the ability to manage time.
Experience in data analysis and input.

Work in-person at office in Portland, ME.
Must be willing to travel to customers.
You Offer
5+ years’ experience in sales management; sales of packaging or similar products a plus.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
Able to provide expert sales insight and inspire sales team to meet targeted goals.
Able to develop KPIs with the sales team and lead sales initiatives to promote and maintain business.
Excellent planning, organization, negotiation, project management. customer focus, results, and relationship building skills.
Excellent communication skills and PC proficiency, Excel, Evernote, Office.
This is an exempt position that reports to the President.
Physical requirements: General office setting. Sitting at a desk or in a vehicle and use of a computer/tablet required.
Must have a valid and clean driving record.
Schedule: Full time Monday through Friday.
Salary and Monthly Bonus: $60,000-100,000
