Some glimpses from the first snow of the year ❄️

Maine greeted us with a cold that slows everything down. The pace, the noise, the hurry.

Sharing some clips of the snow, the quiet rhythm of breath, the stillness in the air...
all reminding me that winter asks us to move slowly, to be present, and to live with intention.

A season for slowing down, for noticing, and for simply being.

Early winter has a way of softening everything. The pace, the pressure, the need to get it all “right.”

Running together felt like a reminder of what truly holds us:
the warmth of shared rhythm, the quiet joy in doing something side-by-side,
the simple gift of being with the people who steady you.

These small, ordinary moments are the ones I’ll carry with me into the new year.
No rush. No noise. Just connection, breath, and belonging.

Here are a few raw glimpses from our recent cold morning run, untouched, unedited, just the moments as they happened.

Tiny pieces of a morning that felt like home.

Special shout-out to:

One of the things I’m most excited about for this coming April in Costa Rica is this:
learning to pay attention again.
To the creatures we coexist with… the ones we often overlook in the rush of our days.

In a world that’s slowly remembering its pace, we’re invited to remember too...
that this earth is a shared space,
alive, breathing, speaking in ways we can hear
if we only pause long enough.

If you want to be part of this week of presence, wonder, and connection, feel free to send a DM.

Most years, it’s easy to get swept up in the noise of the holidays...
the rushing, the planning, the pressure to make everything just right.

But as years go by, we come to realize that what actually stays with us are the quiet moments.
The unpolished ones. The ones where everyone is simply there... breathing, laughing, resting, belonging.

This Thanksgiving, we chose slowness.
We chose presence.
We chose each other.

Sharing a few tender clips from how we spent the holiday as a family,
the kind of moments I want to remember.

From my recent Substack piece, The Vibration of Me Remembered.

An offering for anyone in a season of unraveling, a reminder that even descent can be sacred.

If this piece resonates, I’d love to hear what remembering looks like for you in this season.

If these words find you in a season of unraveling, perhaps they can be a mirror, a hand, a breath of belonging.

What restores you when you forget who you are?

Last month, I offered a blessing for the greenhouse I built this past summer: a space that’s slowly becoming both sanctuary and soil.

We gathered in the early light, breathing with the land, blessing the salt, and remembering that everything sacred begins simple: sunlight, water, hands, and care.

Salt holds the story of the sea, of transformation, of fluid becoming form.
This morning was a reminder of that.

Sharing some clips from this quiet morning of prayer and gratitude.

Something ancient keeps our bones gathering together in the phases of the moon.

When there is enough space to feel, witness, and acknowledge, a raw truthful presence is revealed.

Yoga isn’t only on the mat.
It’s in the soft, quiet ways we show up for the people we love.

It’s listening without rushing to respond.
It’s holding space when words feel heavy.
It’s choosing presence over perfection, again and again.

These small, ordinary acts are where the heart of yoga lives... off the mat, in the fabric of family life.

If this resonates and you want to explore these practices more deeply, in retreats, private sessions, or circles, DM me or visit the link in bio.

Some may think being “a good mother” or “a dedicated teacher” means doing more.

More activities. More checklists. More being everywhere for everyone.
But yoga and honestly, motherhood itself, suggests something different.

It’s not always about adding.

Sometimes the most loving thing we can do is take something away.

To clear the calendar and make space for a slow morning.
To say no to another event so we can say yes to a walk by the ocean.
To let the laundry wait so we can read with our kids, nap, or just breathe.

We can’t pour from an empty cup, and presence doesn’t grow in a schedule that’s overflowing.

So here’s your permission slip: simplify. Choose rest.
Let the space you create be where your life… your real life, blooms again.

And if you’re looking for a space to nurture that presence, whether through 1:1 yoga practices, seasonal cleansing, or mindful living guidance, feel free to send me a message. We’re in this together. 🤍
