Here’s what Amanda Ashlock, LMT ( ) has to say about her approach. It's not easy to venture into the dark places. Those places that need a little light, some elbow grease, a dusting, or the room to expand towards remote spaces. It takes a lot of gallantry to face your 💩 every day, acknowledge it, compost it, plant the seeds you want to see grow, and enjoy the harvest. Over the years, I've become well versed in crop rotation (I'm from a small farming community in Kansas, so I got all the farm puns, huns!) These bodies are moving around in a miracle, and they carry our histories and stories and our joy and our tragedies and our lineage all over this earth. For the last decade, I've been so honored to work with folks in these endeavors.
In your massage treatment, we'll work together to reach your goals safely and effectively, with your priorities in mind. Each treatment will be individualized: the body wakes up different every day, and your bodywork can meet you where you are, the way you are, when you are. My work is quite slow and intentional: I weave together various techniques during treatment: Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, Craniosacral Therapy, Trigger Point Release, Gua Sha, Table Thai, Fire Cupping. These sessions include conscious movement of the body, incorporate facilitated stretching, and guided breath work.
