Soul Care-Angie Fadel

Soul Care-Angie Fadel I am currently taking new clients and am looking to expand the conversation on what Spiritual Direction can look like. It is found in every religious practice.

Spiritual Direction is the ancient art of listening. Across the timeline of history listening to people who are stuck, frustrated, deconstructing, rebuilding and/or needing a place to be heard without judgment has been a human and still is a human need. My desire is to create a safe unhurried space where therapeutic listening happens. I look at Spiritual Direction as a "permission giving" of sorts. What I mean by that is...there is nothing you might say that would shock me, there is no doubt or pain expressed that would cause me to think less of you. In this way there is nothing off limits in our time together, we together, create a safe place to explore our lives, the reasons we do what we do, and make space for more awareness and presence. I have an MA, SF at George Fox University and also received my certification from GFU. My specialties are Enneagram, Transformational Life workshops (this is curriculum I wrote for my Masters in Spiritual Formation at George Fox and have taught numerous times at the Bridge Church where I pastored for over 7 years), I am an expert in Jungian Intensive Journaling, Body, mind, spirit connection. I write curriculum and lead classes around rage, anger grief and loss (giving permission to feel all our feelings, not just the convenient ones), team building and spiritual formation workshops, as well. I also teach archery and labyrinth as a spiritual/meditative practice. Most Spiritual Direction happens on a monthly basis. Please don't feel confined by this. If something comes up and you would like to meet more frequently, for a period of time please e-mail me or call me and we can discuss the different options available to you. When we are just beginning to meet together I find it is better to meet weekly for the first two or more visits and then taper off to meeting on a monthly basis, unless you prefer otherwise. This gives us a chance to get to know each other and makes our times together run more smoothly. If you find it valuable, in your situation, to meet every week or every other, I am open to that as well. I meet with many people internationally. This can be tricky with time differences, but not impossible to figure out. If you are looking for a safe listening ear please email me and set something up today! Warmly,

Angie Fadel MA, SF

Imbolc: Winter is pregnant with Spring soon to come. At least that is the feeling that I can touch when I walk the dogs first thing in the morning. Strangely, the sun has been shining and the sky is beautiful (I live in Portland, OR, so the sun in winter is not a common sight — I will take it!). The frost is on the ground, and I can see the buds beginning to bud and more birdsong all around me.
I live in the city so my practice is to find rhythms in a place that feels devoid of rhythm. I dream of waking up in a wood and walking the same piece of land everyday familiarizing myself the everything about it. That isn’t my story so the city and my neighborhood are my forest and I mark them in the same ways I would mark the woods.
The celebration of Imbolc has grounded me in ways I didn’t realize it would or even knew how deeply I needed it.

The Full Moon’s Gift
The full moon represents a time of heightened clarity and awareness. As the moon reaches its fullest illumination, it creates a natural opportunity to see things more clearly and find balance. This phase offers an ideal moment to recognize and release what no longer serves us. We’ll harness this energy through the meditative practice of archery combined with effective somatic release techniques.
Meanings and things to be thinking about:
Wolf Moon is the first full and supermoon of 2026
Introspection, transformation, endurance, strength, and a deep connection with one’s instincts.

This is a huge, heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported my small business in 2025.
Tonight I’m sitting at my kitchen table in the middle of the chaos of my youngest getting their homemade presents ready: 9 boxes of cookies, 5 different varieties, 3–4 cookies in each bag—roughly 180 cookies baked today for a belated holiday party at a friend’s house. The music is blasting, the house smells amazing, the Christmas tree is still sparkling, and in the midst of it all, I’m remembering this year and feeling so grateful.
We did a Q***r Shooting with the Full Moon Archery Workshop in July. We gathered for the annual Colorado archery events in October, including a half-day retreat centered around the Celtic Wheel of the Year. November brought my first Los Angeles archery gathering, expanding this strange, beautiful work into new places.
We’ve had almost two years of No Men’s Mindful Archery and Teen Mindful Archery Meetups, building rhythm and community month after month. This year, I added Archery For Resistance and Shooting with the New Moon, weaving in even more spaces for collective healing, courage, and release.
The Cedar Circle (Wheel of the Year), which began at Winter Solstice 2024, completed a full turn with our Winter Solstice gathering on December 21, 2025. Along the way there have been Rage Walks in the Woods, Meditative Archery, stickers and patches, my Juniper salve, and pocket Ritual Kits in the shop—small tangible ways to carry this work into daily life.
