Soul Care-Angie Fadel

Soul Care-Angie Fadel I am currently taking new clients and am looking to expand the conversation on what Spiritual Direction can look like. It is found in every religious practice.

Spiritual Direction is the ancient art of listening. Across the timeline of history listening to people who are stuck, frustrated, deconstructing, rebuilding and/or needing a place to be heard without judgment has been a human and still is a human need. My desire is to create a safe unhurried space where therapeutic listening happens. I look at Spiritual Direction as a "permission giving" of sorts. What I mean by that is...there is nothing you might say that would shock me, there is no doubt or pain expressed that would cause me to think less of you. In this way there is nothing off limits in our time together, we together, create a safe place to explore our lives, the reasons we do what we do, and make space for more awareness and presence. I have an MA, SF at George Fox University and also received my certification from GFU. My specialties are Enneagram, Transformational Life workshops (this is curriculum I wrote for my Masters in Spiritual Formation at George Fox and have taught numerous times at the Bridge Church where I pastored for over 7 years), I am an expert in Jungian Intensive Journaling, Body, mind, spirit connection. I write curriculum and lead classes around rage, anger grief and loss (giving permission to feel all our feelings, not just the convenient ones), team building and spiritual formation workshops, as well. I also teach archery and labyrinth as a spiritual/meditative practice. Most Spiritual Direction happens on a monthly basis. Please don't feel confined by this. If something comes up and you would like to meet more frequently, for a period of time please e-mail me or call me and we can discuss the different options available to you. When we are just beginning to meet together I find it is better to meet weekly for the first two or more visits and then taper off to meeting on a monthly basis, unless you prefer otherwise. This gives us a chance to get to know each other and makes our times together run more smoothly. If you find it valuable, in your situation, to meet every week or every other, I am open to that as well. I meet with many people internationally. This can be tricky with time differences, but not impossible to figure out. If you are looking for a safe listening ear please email me and set something up today! Warmly,

Angie Fadel MA, SF

What a day to celebrate Samhain! We lost our spot we’ve been going to for almost a year now- Hoyt Arboretum + Torrential rains, winds, and a young child’s birthday happening right next to our rituals, smudging, and silent supper - you name it, it was happening.
And still we gathered.
Turned on a dime, found another covered area, and cobbled something beautiful, real, and dare I say transcendent together.
I know I say this EVERY FU***NG TIME but this gathering is pure magic and I’m so grateful to go on this ride with y’all.

Wowee!!! I have sat down to write this message about Samhain so many times, got up to switch the laundry over, sat down to write, got up to clean the dog bed, sat down to write, got up to replace the dog bed, and sat down again to write. It’s not that I don’t have anything to say in fact it’s quite the opposite - I have too much to say. Is there such a thing? Yes, yes there is. I don’t want us to get lost in the woods around all the folklore surrounding Samhain, I want us to all be able to do our own deep dives into this Celtic Holiday.
But here is a little about it from me -
What is Samhain?
Samhain pronounced Sow-wen (it is very important to Scottish and Irish people to pronounce it correctly) is a Celtic holiday practiced in Ireland, Scotland and the Isle of Man going way back like 2,000 years back. It is the last harvest! Everything that you could do to make it through winter you’ve done: brought in the harvest, killed the animals that won’t make it, gathered wood, made your house ready, and ate all the perishables. Time to hunker down.
This holiday is a big deal on the Wheel.

Join me for a transformative archery experience aligned with the powerful energy of the new moon. This is a time for rebirth, inner reflection, and setting powerful intentions. We’ll use the focused practice of archery to release what no longer serves us and cultivate the seeds of our deepest desires. The new moon invites us to look inward. We’ll use archery as a tool for deep self-reflection and release.
Normally this workshop is $80 per person - for my new moon in Libra it's $70 per person🏹💗🏹

It’s hard to believe a full year has passed since we last gathered, but here we are again, preparing for our 10th annual Meditative Archery Weekend this October.
Whether you’re a longtime participant or discovering us for the first time, this has become a cherished tradition of community, healing, and the surprisingly profound practice of drawing a bow.
Why Meditative Archery?
There’s something deeply satisfying about the simplicity of archery—the clean line from intention to action, the moment of release, the quiet satisfaction of finding your target. But when we slow it down and bring mindfulness to the practice, it becomes a conversation with ourselves, a way of working through what’s stuck, and a pathway to embodied healing.
About 90% of participants arrive as complete beginners, yet by session’s end, they’re not only hitting targets—they’re connecting with something deeper within themselves.
•Friday, October 3: Celtic Wheel ½-Day Retreat
10 am – 2 pm
We’ll begin the weekend with a gentle ½-day retreat exploring ritual, nature, and the Celtic Wheel of the Year. Gathering between Mabon and Samhain (the Celtic New Year), we’ll combine meditative archery with seasonal reflection in an intimate community setting. This gathering is free, but we always appreciate support for
•Saturday, October 4: Meditative Archery Workshops
Three 2-hour sessions throughout the day-
three separate workshops designed to help you work through rage, anger, grief, loss, rejection, abandonment, hopelessness, or fear. Each session combines Jungian journaling with hands-on instruction and somatic release work.
All equipment is provided, and you can attend one session or all three—whatever feels right for your journey.
Sunday, October 5: Kids’ Workshops
Ages 8 – 12 12:30–2 pm | Ages 13 – 18 2 – 3:30 pm
Young people possess their own wisdom and a unique need for embodied practices. These age-appropriate workshops offer kids and teens a chance to explore archery in a supportive, community environment.
