We encourage both beginners and advanced students looking for a yoga home. At yogaRIOT, we TEACH yoga and get to know our students by providing personalized instruction. What are the benefits of this pose?
•Strengthens legs (quads, hamstrings, glutes) through deep lunge engagement

•Builds hip mobility and helps open hips. Especially in hip flexors and inner thighs. (Can be quite challenging in the front leg/hip.

•Engages the core, especially obliques. Both on the under side and lengthened side.

•Increases range of motion: Upper & lower body. Upper: the rotation of the torso as an example.
