This webinar utilizes case studies to explore common yet complex patient profiles of individuals who benefit from inpatient medical stabilization. Case studies will cover numerous topics, including medical complications associated with restricting and purging behaviors, comorbid conditions that can complicate effective treatment for the eating disorder, adverse effects of medications frequently prescribed for those with eating disorders, and complications associated with aggressive weight loss. Learners will gain an increased understanding of these medical complications and associated interventions that allow for effective nutritional rehabilitation and weight restoration.

Free April study group for all students enrolled in our Working with Adolescents and Their Families in Eating Disorder Treatment Version 2.0 Course! Sign up any time to access these monthly Zoom meetings with course instructors Katie Grubiak or Lauren Muhlheim.
