EDRD Pro

EDRD Pro EDRD Pro was established in 2017 to help improve access to quality training for non-diet approach and eating disorder professionals.

The mission of EDRD Pro is to improve access to top-quality training for dietitians and professionals around the world and to increase awareness about Eating Disorders and Health at Every Size(R) for everyone. We think dietitians, nutritionists, coaches and therapists around the globe should have equal opportunities to hear from top experts in the field. Learn more about EDRD Pro for professionals at EDRDpro.com. Mission: We are a web-based community of Registered Dietitians (RD’s) and other like-minded professionals who work from a non-diet, Health at Every Size® approach. In addition to dietitians, we are happy to welcome students, interns, counselors, coaches and all medical professionals. Our mission is to support and train dietetics professionals on evidence-based, HAES research and emerging science to help broaden their skills in identifying, treating, and preventing disordered eating and eating disorders. The EDRD Pro annual symposium and ongoing membership program are all about the clients who need our help: The soul of EDRD Pro lies at our commitment to help professionals be prepared and equipped with the training, information and support to help liberate and free people everywhere from diet culture and disordered eating. We are soldiers against dieting, body shaming, weight discrimination and fat phobia.

EDRD Pro members and non-members alike are invited to join us on Wednesday, March 11th, from 10 am to 11:30 am PDT to watch Evelyn Tribole, MS, RDN present Food Addiction or Food Distress? Unpacking the Science and the Way Forward!

This webinar cuts through the hype and breaks down what emerging research really says about “food addiction.” Learn why restriction, hunger, and emotional distress (not specific foods) are the true drivers of loss-of-control eating.

We’ll also examine major issues with the Yale Food Addiction Scale and explore how clinicians can better interpret research and support clients in building trust and peace with food.
