Eduan Martinez-Soto was an IEH undergraduate intern in 2010. Today he is a Ph.D. student in Biomathematics at the Ohio State University, delivering an oral presentation at the National SACNAS conference. Congratulations to ESE Ph.D. student Sheree Watson, who has received a travel grant from the Consortium of Universities for the Advancement of Hydrological Science Inc. (CUAHSI), a consortium of universities allied for water research funded by NSF. The grant will support her travel to Swift Current, Canada to work with Dr. Barbara Cade-Menun, an expert on identification of Phosphorus (P) compounds in the environment in order to evaluate Columbia River estuary sediments for various P compounds.
