Cascadia Health Medical Director Dr. Andrea Matsumura was highlighted by the Oregon Medical Association for her leadership in sleep medicine, in recognition of National Sleep Awareness Month (March).

Today, March 30, is also National Doctor's Day—an annual observance honoring the dedication, skill and unwavering commitment of physicians in providing high-quality health care to individuals and communities worldwide.

We thank Dr. Matsumura, and the amazing doctors and medical staff at Cascadia for their continuing care and dedication!

In recognition of National Sleep Awareness Month (March), we highlight OMA Vice President Dr. Andrea Matsumura, MD, MS, FACP, FAASM, MSCP, a nationally recognized sleep medicine physician and leading authority in women’s health. Dr. Matsumura is double board-certified in Internal Medicine and Sleep Medicine and a Certified Menopause Practitioner through The Menopause Society.

Dr. Matsumura is spearheading a movement to position sleep as the most powerful and accessible tool for longevity, disease prevention, and performance. “Sleep is the most underutilized intervention in medicine,” she notes. “If we want to improve health outcomes at scale, we have to start there.”

We’re auctioning off original art from former Cascadia client Bob Volke. Available only to in-person attendees, so make sure to get your ticket to the Gala today! Pieces available starting at $375. 🎨

Bob was connected to Cascadia Health after being diagnosed with schizophrenia. He began painting after being connected to Cascadia’s art therapy program and used painting as a way to process his emotions. Using a variety of painting instruments, Bob became a successful painter with his work hanging on walls all around the world.
