Andaluz Waterbirth Center provides comprehensive, skilled, family-centered midwifery care for women seeking an experience that is safe and empowering. Our birth centers feature large comfortable birth tubs for water labor or waterbirth. Interested in touring a birth center and talking with a midwife? We are excited to welcome Christina Reed, CNM, to the Andaluz Team!

Christina has been with us for almost a month now, learning the ropes while working along side Carrie, Amber, and Megan. You might have met her already, but we wanted to offer a formal introduction here on the socials!

Christina was drawn to midwifery while working as a medical assistant in a group practice that included midwives, where she supported group prenatal care and began developing a deep understanding of pregnancy, birth, and the midwifery model of care.

She earned her Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery from the University of Cincinnati in 2024. During her education, Christina gained experience providing care in both birth center and hospital settings.

She values collaboration and informed decision-making as essential components of high-quality healthcare and is committed to supporting clients in making choices that align with their values and needs.

Lactation Lounge is meeting on 1/23/25 with special guest Megan De Rego, Licensed Pelvic Floor Therapist at

Megan De Rego is a licensed occupational therapist who brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and genuine passion to pelvic health care. She takes a holistic, evidence-based approach to patient care, believing that true healing happens when clients feel empowered and connected to their bodies.

She specializes in working with women throughout their lifespan, with particular expertise in pregnancy and postpartum care, endometriosis, and chronic pelvic pain.

We are hosting a Holiday Open House on December 9th from 4:00pm-6:00pm!

If you had a baby with us in 2025, this is your opportunity to stop in to pick up your baby’s name ornament from the Tree of Life in our lobby.

Any and all Andaluz families are welcome to join us for cider and cookies, and to stay hello to your favorite midwives! This is a drop-in event, and registration is not required.
