The Portland Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony at our clinic a week from today to celebrate our transition to becoming a provider-owned practice. This event is open to the public and we’d love to see as many of you there as possible!

As many of you know, my husband and I officially became the owners of Firefly on January 1st, which we are thrilled about! While I get to see many of you regularly, not everyone knows my husband, Darren, so I would like the opportunity to introduce him to yall.

He is the tech wiz behind the scenes and my biggest supporter. He’s already jumped right in, updating our website (check it out at fireflycare.com!) and spending the first weekend of the new year in the clinic helping with little things that I think will make a big difference. I’m so grateful for him and so excited for this next chapter. ✨

We are pleased to share that our practice is transitioning to new ownership under our current provider, Shantina Kurtz effective January 1st. This change marks a meaningful new chapter, built on the same values and dedication that define our work. Our previous owner, Eric Johnson, has truly cherished his time serving this community and is deeply grateful for the trust and support he has received. While it is bittersweet for him to step away, he is genuinely delighted to pass the baton to Shantina, a provider who is not only highly skilled, but also deeply loved and valued by our patients and staff.

We want to assure you that this transition will not bring any changes that affect our patients. Your care, your provider, and the services you rely on will remain exactly the same. Our commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care continues without interruption.
