Interesting study on carpal tunnel syndrome that showed rigid tape had the greatest improvement in grip strength, however, kinesiology tape had improvement in both grip strength and reduction of pain. What was most surprising is that traditional external braces did worse than the control group that had nothing at all. It would've been interesting to see the effect of the combination of kinesiology tape and an external brace.

These results are not subtle with significant improvement with both KT Tape and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, such as Hawkgrips.

A 16.7% reduction in pronation can be a huge change in someone struggling from shin splints whether it's anterior or medial. Granted this is a pilot study and a larger study group is necessary for generallizing outcome effect.
