Birchwoods at Canco, the premier assisted living community in Portland, is now hiring a LPN to be our Resident Services Coordinator and join our Management Team!

Schedule is Full-Time Day shift (Approx. 9am-5pm) Tuesday-Saturday and the flexibility to be on-call is required. Qualifies for all full-time benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance. Short Term Disability, Company contributed 401K retirement plan, Paid Time Off, Vacation Time, Sick Time, free meals while you're working, and more.**

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists in assuring a stable Residents Assistants staff of optimal quality and quantity by recruiting, hiring, supervising, and evaluating.

Assists with completing service plans as directed by Director of Health Services.

Coordinates Service plan review meeting process per policy.

Supervises Resident Assistants to assure that resident services are offered according to service plans and other duties are performed according to Daily Assignments.

Assists in completing regular competency evaluations of Resident Assistants as directed by Director of Health Services.

Assures medications and treatments administered as ordered by reviewing MAR for omissions or errors.

Assures parameters for administration of PRN medications and treatments entered on MAR as established by physician and/or Director of Health Services

Assures appropriate use for medications and treatments entered on MAR.

This individual must have a friendly, professional, and energetic personality and have a passion for improving the lives of others. The successful candidate for this position must be 21 years of age and will maintain LPN license. This individual will work well in a team setting, possess organizational skills as well as excellent customer service skills.

EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2020, SIGNIFICANT PAY INCREASE FOR CRMA AND RESIDENT ASSISTANTS!**

This position will administer or assist residents to self-administer medications and treatments, measure vital signs and weight, and perform other health services tasks. This position also communicates with physicians, implements physician orders, and reports and documents pertinent information.

This individual must have a friendly, professional, and energetic personality and have a passion for improving the lives of others. The successful candidate for this position must be 18 years of age and will maintain 40 hour CRMA certification. This individual will work well in a team setting, possess organizational skills as well as excellent customer service skills. Working a varied schedule as directed by Administrator is required.
