Each year at the conclusion of our Veterans Day Parade, we have our flag raising ceremony to replace our nations flag with a new flag. This year would have been the 46th year hosting the parade, and the first year we were unable to. Today we raise our new flag to honor our veterans and the commitment they have to our country. We look forward to our 47th annual Veterans Day Parade 🇺🇸

A note to our families:

Our local sister funeral home in Beaverton, Pegg, Paxson & Springer, will be recognizing Breast Cancer awareness month the whole month of October in a very special way.

From October 1-31, when a family drives by our funeral home location after 5pm, on the corner of 2nd and Watson, they will see our front office alight with a pink glow honoring those of our loved ones who have been affected by Breast Cancer in any way. We hope that as we stand in solidarity with each other, we will know we are not alone in our fight.

Also, we will have a beautiful Memorial Garland inside the funeral home. This is where we will memorialize the name of a loved one who passed away of Breast Cancer by writing their name on a leaf. Regardless of whether your family member or friend went through our funeral home, please give us a call at 503-644-1176 and we will add the name of your loved one. (In November, families are welcome to come in and receive the memorial leaf for their own keepsake.)
