Join JFCS‘ Senior Social Hour and Congregation Neveh Shalom’s Wondering Jews 65+ for a special movie matinee of Eleanor the Great, starring June Squibb as a sharp-tongued 94-year-old woman navigating an unexpected new chapter after a loss.

We’ll enjoy popcorn and classic movie snacks while watching Eleanor relocate to New York, where a small misunderstanding at a support group grows into a larger story - both funny and touching - about memory, identity, and the complicated ways we carry the people we love with us.

Today is Transgender Day of Visibility, an international day dedicated to recognizing the resilience and accomplishments of the transgender and non-binary communities. JFCS believes that Trans Rights Are Human Rights. Further, we believe strongly in the Jewish imperative to stand up for others' human rights.

Thank you to the whole community for providing resources and volunteer hours for this year's Passover4All program. Your generosity filled meal bags for over 140 families with a Passover Seder meal, a gift card, and a personal holiday card. Forty volunteers filled and delivered boxes directly to grateful clients' doors. Our clients pass along a huge ‘thank you’ to all who helped make this program possible.
