The people we support in one of our group homes had a great time exploring the deep sea with Kerr staff during a visit to Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) Monsters of the Abyss exhibit.

From glowing creatures to larger-than-life models, the experience offered opportunities to learn and wonder.

We're for the generosity of our supporters for making outings like this possible.

Huge thanks to B.U.L.L. Session Invitational Charity Events—Business, Union, and Labor Leaders—for their incredible support of youth and families across our community.

Through their annual gala and golf tournament, business, union, and labor leaders support five local nonprofits serving children, including Albertina Kerr’s Crisis Psychiatric Care for Youth (Subacute).

Together, those efforts raised over $8 million, benefiting all five nonprofits and helping youth in crisis find safety, healing, and hope when they need it most.

We’re grateful for their continued support and the impact they make year after year.

Participants in our Inclusive Day Services program had a wonderful time exploring the immersive art rooms at Hopscotch Portland, all thanks to the generosity of our supporters.

Outings like this give the people Kerr supports a chance to connect with the community, try new ways to express themselves, and enjoy a special experience.

We’re excited to welcome Moana Newman as our Vice President of Development & Community Engagement.

Moana brings more than 25 years of experience strengthening nonprofit programs that support youth and families.

In her role at Kerr, she will lead fundraising initiatives, community partnerships, and donor engagement to expand and enhance our person-centered services for the people we support.

Jaden came to Kerr with an I/DD and a mental health diagnosis, facing challenges that typical systems are not built to address together. With person-centered, trauma-informed supports, he found stability and a path forward.
