You guys… we finally found a place to live.

This search has been wild — full of almost-yeses, parking lot pep talks, quiet disappointments, and more than a few existential spirals. There were moments I was convinced we were learning some cosmic lesson in patience. (We were.)

And then we walked into this place. It wasn’t flashy. It wasn’t the one that photographs beautifully. But something in my body relaxed before my mind could argue with it.

The whole process ended up teaching us a lot — about discernment, about saying no even when you want to say yes, about refusing to contort yourself just to make something work.

I wrote about the journey and the deeper lessons hiding inside it. If you’re in a threshold season of your own, I think you’ll feel this one. 🖤

Lately, it feels harder than usual just to get through the day.

Something profound is shifting in the world right now. Astrologers have been watching this threshold approach for a long time—but you don’t need astrology to know it. You can feel it in the atmosphere, in conversations, in your body, in the way time itself seems to move differently.

And there’s something I know to be true in moments like this:
if we don’t tend to what we’re feeling, we won’t make good decisions.

We need each other more than ever. And yet, so often, we skip the most essential step.

We skip grief.

Grief is sacred. It moves what has become stuck. It clears space for clarity, courage, and right action.

Because of this, I’m offering a free online grief circle this Friday. It’s a bit last-minute, but it feels deeply needed right now.

🕯 Friday, January 30
🕯 6–8pm Pacific
🕯 Online via Zoom

This will be a gently held council circle—a place to share, listen, or simply be present. All of you is welcome: grief, rage, love, gratitude, numbness, and even joy. Sharing is always optional.

Space is limited so that everyone who wants to speak has the opportunity. Please only claim a spot if you truly plan to come.

If you’d like to join, comment here or message me and I’ll send you the details.

We are going to get through this.
But we don’t have to do it alone. 💛

It’s really easy right now to feel like there isn’t much you can do.
Like the problems are too big, the systems too entrenched, the times too overwhelming.

And yet—that couldn't be farther from the truth.

We don’t all have the same role to play, and we’re not meant to respond in the same way. One of the most powerful tools I know for remembering how you’re meant to show up in this world is your astrology chart.

For me, my chart has always been a kind of personal roadmap.

Not telling me what to think or who to be—but helping me understand what I’m here to do, how I’m wired to contribute, and where my energy actually belongs.

When you know that—when you know your role, your way of responding, your natural lane—it’s incredibly empowering. It shifts something from despair to direction. From “What’s the point?” to “Oh… this is why I’m here.”

I just shared this new peice, and it’s an invitation to explore exactly that: how your Rising sign, Sun, Moon, and house placements can help you understand how you’re meant to work with these unprecedented times—practically, sustainably, and in alignment with your nature.

I’m so curious what this brings up for you!

If you read it, let me know:
-what your placements are
-what resonates
-or what surprises you

And if you have questions, I’m happy to talk about it here.

None of us are meant to figure this out alone. 💛

It’s raw, real, and about the kind of initiation that grabs you by the collar.
If you’ve been in the thick of it lately, you’ll feel this one.

The world just lost one of its brightest lights.

My heart is aching knowing that you wanted so much more life. But I hope you know how many people you taught to live well, to grieve well, to dance well, and be nothing but yourself through and through.

I will never forget dancing in the river with you.

You will forever be a light in my heart, Morgan. ❤️🌟 .th0t

Here’s a little picture from last night’s Circle of Re-membering. 🕯️

It was absolutely lovely to gather with these beautiful souls. To be honest, I almost canceled this event—there’s been so much happening in my personal life, and a big part of me felt like I couldn’t show up. But something I’m learning (and something we talked about a lot last night) is that 90% of life really is just showing up. Not perfectly, not bravely, not magically transformed… just present.

And sometimes showing up means being available to receive help too. Letting others hold us. Letting community be medicine. There is something so beautiful in that.

We talked about hope, about the incredible strength we all have to move through these difficult times, and we ended with a tender candle-lighting ritual that felt like a small flame of collective courage.

I feel so lucky to know such gorgeous humans and to spend time with them in sacred space. 🤍

If you’re feeling the pull, we still have room for Sunday’s online gathering at 9am. I chose this time so it would be accessible to most places in the world. You can sign up via the portal in the bio. I’d love to see you there. 🌿

Sometimes when I don't know what to do, I sit down with a pen and journal and ask something wiser out there if it can offer some guidance.

It has been quite the week. So, I sat down and this letter came through. It sounds like many of us are working through challenging waters, so I thought I'd share it in case you need this today.

Some deeper, honest and revelatory reflections that were inspired by this past Mercury in retrograde.

It’s more truthful than tidy, more human than heroic.
And yeah, I’m sweating at the thought of people reading it — maybe that’s how I know it was the one I needed to write.

Today is Small Business Saturday, and I felt it deep when I woke up.

Running your own little thing in the world is amazing and messy and terrifying and freeing all at once. It asks everything of you. Especially if, like me, your natural habitat is a quiet room, candlelight, books, solitary hikes… you know… hermit culture.

Putting myself out there is honestly the hardest part. I can build, create, research, make magic behind the scenes for hours — but saying “hey, world, this is me, this is my work, this is my offering”? That’s a different level of bold. Because at heart, I really do prefer the edges, the trees, the back row.

But here’s the truth:
I love what I do.
I believe in it with my whole being.
And even on the days it feels impossibly hard, and I wonder who let a hermit start a business in the first place…

…I wouldn’t give it up for the world.

So today (and really, this whole season), I’m asking you to remember this when you're choosing where to spend your money:

When you support a small business, you’re not just buying a thing — you are literally feeding families. Mine included. Your purchases pay rent. Buy groceries. Cover dance class passes. Fill gas tanks. Put warmth in homes.

You are literally keeping humans afloat.
You’re not just shopping — you’re sustaining life.
This year more than ever, please spend your money supporting small businesses with big hearts, handmade goods, sacred offerings, wild creativity, healing services, cozy spaces, thoughtful products, dream-driven brands.

You are literally feeding families.

And I’ll be sharing several throughout the day — small businesses I adore, creators I believe in, magic-makers you can support with your purchases.

Because when one of us rises, we all rise.

Thank you for seeing the value, feeling the heart, and keeping people fed.

Spend your money with intention today, and know:
You are literally feeding families.

Perhaps this sounds familiar:

This time of year can feel like a swirl—of travel, gathering, emotions, memories, and so many tiny decisions about how to care for ourselves and the people we love.

I’ve been thinking about gifts that truly support someone’s inner season—especially those navigating transition, awakening, grief, or deep personal change. With that in mind, I’m offering a limited number of Year-Ahead Reading gift certificates this year for $249.

These readings explore the major themes, transits, and invitations of the year ahead—perfect for someone longing for clarity, grounding, or a renewed sense of direction.

Each gift certificate includes a 5% donation to a nonprofit, chosen by the giver. The organizations I’m highlighting this year are:
🛡️ The Defending Our Neighbors Fund
🌲 The Wilderness Society
🗳️ Common Cause
🌿 The Native American Rights Fund

There’s no purchase link—just message me if you’d like to gift one to someone you love.

And if you’re considering a Year-Ahead Reading for yourself, a gentle reminder that January always books up fast, so feel free to reserve your spot early which you can do via the portal in the comments.

No pressure—just a meaningful offering for a tender season. 🤍

A Story of Connection

Katrina Nilsson-Gorman is a survivor, multipotentialite and innovator. She is not a therapist or a life coach--what she brings to the plate is something entirely new.

The programs she developed come entirely from years of seeing therapists, doctors, life coaches, gurus, you name it--recognizing what worked and what didn't work. More than anything, she has a passion for connection--deep connection to one's true self, connection to an unconditionally loving community and connection to the natural environment. A life-long devotee of the arts, nature, and personal growth/exploration, she comes with a curious melange of talents, gifts and offerings. Having traversed the globe in search of interesting and successful healing modalities, she came back to the US in 2014 as a Reiki Master. From there, she began the path to realizing she was a full-body empath and effective vehicle for energy, and translating archetypes into meaningful messages for clients. She has an unabashed adoration for nature and is living proof that adequate time outside can lead to greater health and fulfillment.
