Aries season has been a lot and if you felt it too, you are not alone.

I'm gathering the circle again in May, and I've also got something new and lovely to share: in-person readings at a secret garden in SE Portland.

All the details are in the latest Lantern Letter. 🕯️

So, it has been a minute since I wrote horoscopes.

But Holy Moses, when 7, count them 7!! (if you count Chiron) planets are in one sign, it warrants addressing.

These are not subtle times and they require stronger medicine. So here we are, I hope you enjoy them. Please let me know in the comments what this brings up for you. Does this challenge you? Can you find yourself in this? I'm looking forward to some rich conversations from this.

What a morning. 🌿

We gathered at the sweetest little Hobbit Hole for the Circle of Re-Membering, and this crew did not come to play small.

Together we sat with Aries season and Wood energy — exploring what anger really is, what compassion really asks of us, and how these two forces might actually need each other more than we think.

Ripe Spring Oolong with Maple Flower buds. Deep conversation. Good humans.

If you've been feeling the call to gather in this way, our next Circle is coming. Stay tuned — you're welcome here. 🌱

Grief is one of those things we don't really know how to talk about collectively. We don't have a lot of healthy societal precedent for it. And yet somehow, for as long as I can remember, I have felt extraordinarily close to it.

I've come to believe that's because grief and love are inextricably linked. You cannot feel one deeply without the other living nearby.

This week I've been in it. Really in it. And instead of waiting until I was on the other side of it to write — cleaned up, composed, lessons learned — I decided to write from inside it.

Because I think there is medicine in the feeling itself that we keep skipping over. And I didn't want to skip it this time.

This one is from my heart to yours. 🖤

Circle of Re-Membering —
this Sunday, April 12th | 10 AM – 12 PM

We have 3 spots left, and I have a feeling this one is going to fill.

I want to be real with you: I took a little pause from facilitating these gatherings. Life got genuinely wild — one of the most intense chapters I've moved through — and I needed to get my own head on straight before I could hold good space for anyone else.

I'm glad I waited. I'm in a much more regulated, grounded place now, and I'm genuinely looking forward to Sunday.

Here's what we do: we slow down together. There's quiet contemplation, a little meditation, space to talk about the seasonal shifts, and room to share what you're carrying — or just to listen. Everything is optional, always. But consistently, people walk out feeling more empowered, more grounded, like they can actually take on the world. That part never gets old to witness.

It's a place to be witnessed. And to witness others. That's really it.

The Circle of Re-Membering is one of my most sincere offerings. Free to attend — donations are welcome, never expected.

Small group, 8 people max, gathering in a cozy little spot in SW Portland we've been calling the Hobbit Hole. 🌿

Right now, with everything happening in the world, I think community is one of the most healing things we can reach for.

If you feel called, come. Sign-up portal in bio.💛

I rarely let people into the true intimacy of my spiritual world.

Not because I'm withholding, but because I've learned how exposed it feels. How quickly that exposure can become projection, and how easy it is to be made into something other than what you are by someone who needs you to be either a saint or a cautionary tale.

So I've edited. Most of my life, I've edited.

But something is shifting. This week in my Lantern Letters I wrote the piece I've been circling for years. It's about speaking spirit as a first language, about the people who find me carrying experiences they've never had words for, and about what it means to finally stop apologizing for the truth of my own perception.

If you've ever had an experience that changed the fundamental texture of reality for you and haven't quite found the language or the company for it, this one is for you. ❤

We are carrying more than we realize. The rage, the grief, the fury of watching a world that keeps asking us to doubt what we already know to be true.

Our bodies know. And when we finally let them speak — something shifts.

New Lantern Letter is up. It's for all of us in the thick of it.

Last November I watched a bald eagle sn**ch a crow out of the sky mid-flight.

I knew it was an omen. I had no idea what I was in for.

A new piece is up on Lantern Letters — on transformation, thresholds, and what it feels like to finally land on the other side of a season that took everything apart.

If you've had a year like that, this one's for you. 🦅

You guys… we finally found a place to live.

This search has been wild — full of almost-yeses, parking lot pep talks, quiet disappointments, and more than a few existential spirals. There were moments I was convinced we were learning some cosmic lesson in patience. (We were.)

And then we walked into this place. It wasn’t flashy. It wasn’t the one that photographs beautifully. But something in my body relaxed before my mind could argue with it.

The whole process ended up teaching us a lot — about discernment, about saying no even when you want to say yes, about refusing to contort yourself just to make something work.

I wrote about the journey and the deeper lessons hiding inside it. If you’re in a threshold season of your own, I think you’ll feel this one. 🖤

Lately, it feels harder than usual just to get through the day.

Something profound is shifting in the world right now. Astrologers have been watching this threshold approach for a long time—but you don’t need astrology to know it. You can feel it in the atmosphere, in conversations, in your body, in the way time itself seems to move differently.

And there’s something I know to be true in moments like this:
if we don’t tend to what we’re feeling, we won’t make good decisions.

We need each other more than ever. And yet, so often, we skip the most essential step.

We skip grief.

Grief is sacred. It moves what has become stuck. It clears space for clarity, courage, and right action.

Because of this, I’m offering a free online grief circle this Friday. It’s a bit last-minute, but it feels deeply needed right now.

🕯 Friday, January 30
🕯 6–8pm Pacific
🕯 Online via Zoom

This will be a gently held council circle—a place to share, listen, or simply be present. All of you is welcome: grief, rage, love, gratitude, numbness, and even joy. Sharing is always optional.

Space is limited so that everyone who wants to speak has the opportunity. Please only claim a spot if you truly plan to come.

If you’d like to join, comment here or message me and I’ll send you the details.

We are going to get through this.
But we don’t have to do it alone. 💛

A Story of Connection

Katrina Nilsson-Gorman is a survivor, multipotentialite and innovator. She is not a therapist or a life coach--what she brings to the plate is something entirely new.

The programs she developed come entirely from years of seeing therapists, doctors, life coaches, gurus, you name it--recognizing what worked and what didn't work. More than anything, she has a passion for connection--deep connection to one's true self, connection to an unconditionally loving community and connection to the natural environment. A life-long devotee of the arts, nature, and personal growth/exploration, she comes with a curious melange of talents, gifts and offerings. Having traversed the globe in search of interesting and successful healing modalities, she came back to the US in 2014 as a Reiki Master. From there, she began the path to realizing she was a full-body empath and effective vehicle for energy, and translating archetypes into meaningful messages for clients. She has an unabashed adoration for nature and is living proof that adequate time outside can lead to greater health and fulfillment.
