Are you ready for one of the best neck stretches out there???
This time of year can get pretty tense and stressful with the holidays. That can lead to shoulders in your ears, headaches, and neck pain. Here’s a stretch that can help with all of that.
Step 1: Reach with your Right Hand as if you’re reaching for something that’s just out of reach. You might feel some zings down your arm. That’s perfectly fine and normal when things are tight.

Step 2: Bring your Left ear to the left shoulder. This can be a great place to hang out for a bit. You can chill here for about 30 seconds if you want.

Step 3: Start to look down slightly towards your Left armpit. This will bring the stretch to the more back side of your neck. Keep squeezing the Left ear to the Left shoulder as you look to your armpit.

Step 4: Hold this stretch for 30-60 seconds and repeat on the other side. Avoid trying to deepen this stretch by grabbing your head. The activate muscles will help to release your neck without potential for injury or overstretching.

Repeat this stretch as often as you’d like. Especially while sitting at your desk.
