I'm excited to share that I've been featured on in their inspiring series on finding purpose and building meaningful careers! 🌟

In the interview, I open up about my own journey from the challenges and pivotal moments that led me to therapy, to launching and growing my private practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I discuss how I discovered (and continue to rediscover) my sense of purpose, the core skills and qualities I believe are essential as both a therapist and a business owner like empathy, resilience, clear boundaries, continuous learning, and authentic connection and more reflections on supporting clients through trauma, grief, anxiety, relationships, and life transitions.

Whether you're navigating your own path to purpose, considering therapy, or a colleague interested in connecting/networking, this piece shares some heartfelt insights from my story.

In the face of the escalating ICE raids and the fear, grief, and nervous system activation rippling through our communities right now, I want to offer something gentle and real.

I'm hosting a one-time, 90-minute virtual group:
Coping With Extreme Violence and Trauma Within Our Communities

This is a trauma-informed space to:
🔵 Understand why these events hit our bodies and minds so hard (and why that's a normal, protective response)
🔵 Connect with others carrying similar weight a confidential, non-judgmental container
🔵Connect with others carrying similar weight
🔵 Learn practical tools to ground, regulate, and stay resourced
🔵 Talk about realistic ways to support family, friends, neighbors, and community while protecting your own energy

Group size is small on purpose—so everyone has room to speak and be heard.
Cost: $99
Format: Virtual
If the current wave of violence and uncertainty is overwhelming your system, this group is a place to pause, breathe, and feel less alone.

Excited to share something new today! 🎙️

I recently sat down with Richard Zwicky on the “High on Healthy” podcast for a heartfelt conversation about trauma recovery and mental health therapy.

We dove into how I work virtually across Florida, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, and Oregon utilizing interventions such as EMDR, clinical hypnosis, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help people move through feeling “stuck” from chronic stress and unresolved trauma.

We talked about how adverse childhood experiences can leave the nervous system in chronic fight-or-flight, showing up in adulthood as:

👉 Difficulty resting or feeling truly safe in your body
👉 Disconnection or challenges in relationships
👉 Dissociation that often gets dismissed as “just being busy”

It can be extremely validating to name these patterns out loud, and I hope this episode offers some hope and practical insight if you’ve been carrying similar experiences.

You can listen wherever you get your podcasts!

Tag a friend who might resonate, share your favorite nervous system regulation tip in the comments, or just drop a 💜 if you’re ready to feel more regulated and connected

I am always incredibly grateful l for the opportunity to talk about this work! Thank you, Richard for the thoughtful and encouraging space!

✨ Why subconscious patterns drive those automatic reactions

I am honored to have been invited onto the Soma Says podcast with Dr. Soma Mandal, MD to talk about something I see every single day in my practice: how unresolved trauma lives in the body, not just the mind

We went deep on:
🔵 How trauma actually gets stored in the body (and why talk therapy alone often isn’t enough)
🔵 The real reason so many women walk around with chronic stress, burnout, anxiety, and “I feel guilty saying no” energy
🔵 How somatic therapy, clinical hypnosis, EMDR, IFS and deep nervous system and subconscious rewiring work helps you finally release survival patterns instead of just managing them
🔵 Simple, practical ways to start calming your body and healing shame from the inside out

If you’ve ever wondered “Why do I keep doing this even though I know better?” or felt like anxiety lives in your chest/shoulders/chest/stomach… this one’s for you!

Watch/listen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0EDaJL8q898

And if it resonates, please share it with one woman in your life who needs to hear she’s not broken she’s just carrying things her body has never been allowed to put down!

I am so grateful to Dr. Mandal who has created such a safe space for this conversation. 🫶
