Have a question about eyes? Dr. Ki is more than happy to answer. "Sometimes, patients apologize for asking too many questions - I often joke with them that I love over-explaining - so it works out." - Brian Ki, OD, FAAO.

Dr. Ki has been with West Hills Vision Care has been providing the best level of care for our patients since May 2021. He graduated from University of Oregon and received his Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University. He has a passion for patient care and enjoys educating his patients. Dr. Ki went on to achieve Fellowship status at the American Academy of Optometry, giving him the prestigious designation of FAAO.

What is FAAO? The American Academy of Optometry is an organization of optometrists, vision scientists, researchers, and educators that have committed to promoting the highest level of clinical care. Each Fellow candidate has lectured, completed a residency or has submitted presentations; they are then examined by a panel of leading doctors of optometry. Dr. Ki's oral examination was in the areas of refractive surgery, corneal dystrophies, and eye complications with diabetes. Fellows in the United States represent less than 10 percent of practicing optometrists.

In his free time, Dr. Ki enjoys hiking, music, craft beer and watching the Portland Trail Blazers. He is getting married to his fiancé Lindsey this fall!
