It's time to support our local businesses!

Many local businesses have been closed for the past several days due to the winter storm. It doesn't take many bad or no sales days before it can majorly affect a local business. Businesses are opening back up, so please show them how much you care!

Whether it's visiting your favorite local place to grab a coffee or bite to eat, using a local business for clean-up / repairs from the storm, or giving a shout out to a business who has gone above and beyond to show love & hospitality to our essential workers... our businesses need our community now.

In these calls, scammers falsely claim to be calling on behalf of CEMC and tell members that their power will be restored immediately if a past-due balance is paid over the phone. These calls are scams.

CEMC will never demand immediate payment to restore service during a large outage, and we do not request payment by phone, text, or email. If you receive a call, text, or email that pressures you to pay right away or threatens delayed restoration, hang up and do not provide any personal or financial information. If you are unsure whether a message is legitimate, contact us directly at (800) 987-2362.

INCLEMENT WEATHER STREET MAP (SALT/BRINE/PLOW ROUTES):

The Portland community has a mixture of roads under different jurisdictions, such as State, County, and City.

City of Portland will focus on clearing main collector city streets first, and then expand operations as able.

TDOT is responsible for Highways 109, 76, 52, 31.

Please be safe if you choose to get out.
