One of our recent Friday happy hours was extra special thanks to local singer, Ava Wynne! She jumped from Broadway to Country, Great American Songbook favorites, and even hits from across the decades through the ’60s. Our farm visit day featured lots of goat hugs and happy hearts! Northwest Place residents visited a nearby farm, where we played with the goats and said hello to a horse, a donkey, rabbits, baby chicks, and a few friendly cats. It was the kind of outing that feeds the soul. 🐣🧡

A tiny shovel and a pinch of coal helped the Indoor Model Steam Train come to life right here in the neighborhood! We checked out the setup up close as the “conductor” fed the steam engine with mini shovels... small-scale rails and lots of heads leaning in to watch it run! 🚂🛤️

The propeller hummed between rain breaks when Northwest Place spent the day at the Western Antique Aeroplane & Automobile Museum in Hood River, taking in rows of vintage cars and planes! Two of our residents and our driver even hopped into a biplane, catching clear views of the river and forests below once the clouds opened. ✈️🚗

Welcome to NorthWest Place, a boutique senior community in Portland, OR

Enjoy an afternoon of shopping or a leisurely walk through the quiet tree-lined neighborhood. Join an off-site expedition, take off on your own via our scheduled transportation service, or stay home and relax with a best-seller on the cozy covered porch or rooftop garden. Try a gourmet meal at one of the nearby restaurants or join the happy hour downstairs with some friends.

You'll find sanctuary in the privacy of your own residence—complete with fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, and individual climate controls. Covered parking is available in the underground garage. And, we'll handle the maintenance and weekly housekeeping, so you don't have to.
