Our residents recently visited THE GREAT NORTH, a local coffee shop with a familiar face behind the counter, one of our part-time servers also works there as a barista! She walked the group through different roasts and shared more about how coffee is made.

The best part was getting to taste different varieties as everyone learned a little more and enjoyed the outing! ☕

This recent care kit project gave NWP's residents the chance to be hands on and helpful. Together, we packed bags with essentials- including socks, lotion, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, lip balm, and snacks, which were then delivered to a local organization supporting the houseless community.

Meet one of our FreshZest finalists!

“Squash and Caramelized Onion Tart” is a savory recipe that brings together rich flavor and fresh seasonal ingredients. This tart combines caramelized onions, squash, sweet potato, red onion, thyme, Dijon mustard, and cheese in a dish that feels both hearty and well balanced.

With a whole wheat crust, olive oil, and plenty of vegetables, this recipe fits well with the FreshZest focus on healthier ingredients and thoughtful flavor. It is a great example of a dish that feels comforting while still being full of freshness and color.

Join an off-site expedition, take off on your own via our scheduled transportation service, or stay home and relax with a best-seller on the cozy covered porch or rooftop garden.
