As it currently stands, we are often only reimbursed 20-60% of the possible 100% reimbursement that DOs, MDs, NPs, DNPs and PAs receive for providing the same services and often even spending MUCH more time with our patients. We as NDs, who take insurance, want to bill your insurance as you are already paying usually a hefty fee for having it! We don't want to have to bill you directly or have to resort to expensive out of pocket costs, so if you've used insurance to see an ND please consider filling out this letter.
