Big win off the court for The Dalles, Oregon! At Sunday’s Portland Trail Blazers' game, presented a $40,680 check to representatives from the Northern Wasco Parks and Recreation to help build an all-abilities playground where every kid can play, connect and belong.

It’s all part of the Moda Health and Blazers partnership to support more inclusive, active and healthier communities. Following the Blazers final game, the season total increased to $41,240!

As the NCAA March Madness championships wrap up tonight, we’re looking back at our own Oregon School Activities Association State Basketball Championships just a few weeks ago.

Same passion. Same energy. Same love for the game that we’re now seeing on the national stage.

Huge congrats to every Oregon high school team who competed. The focus and teamwork you showed on the court are what make these moments stick with us.

Winter was all about showing up for our communities. From sponsoring the and Oregon School Activities Association State Basketball Championships to celebrating the grand opening of a new all-abilities playground in City of Tillamook, Oregon.

We also supported local fundraisers like the Northwest Association for Blind Athletes gala and MIKE Program. And we couldn’t be more proud of our own Karis Stoudamire-Phillips, who was named an honoree of the 2026 Portland Business Journal Women of Influence. Way to go, Karis!

A week ago, March Madness Alaska came to a close. But one of the stories that stuck with us most didn't end with a trophy.

After Typhoon Halong displaced families from Kipnuk to Anchorage last fall, coach Annmarie Paul got a call asking if she wanted to lead a team — and she said yes. With no van at first, she drove her own car to pick up all nine players scattered across their new, temporary city, just so they could practice together and compete. "We're family right now," she said.

That family fought their way to the Anchorage C-Team title game, falling just short to Chugiak 39–34.

Through our sponsorship of March Madness Alaska, Moda was proud to gift 30 golden tickets to these families — giving players and their loved ones unlimited access to every tournament game, a small way to celebrate a team that showed up, stuck together, and reminded us that health starts with community and the chance to play.
