March is Endometriosis Awareness Month 💛
A time to talk about what so many women are quietly living with.
Endometriosis affects an estimated 1 in 10 women of reproductive age. That is nearly 190 million women worldwide. And yet, the average time to diagnosis is 7 to 10 years.
Seven to ten years of being told it is “just cramps.”
Seven to ten years of missing work, canceling plans, navigating infertility, or pushing through pain that is not normal.
Endometriosis is a chronic inflammatory condition where tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus. It can cause severe pelvic pain, painful periods, pain with in*******se, digestive symptoms, and fertility challenges.
Acupuncture is not a cure. But research shows it may help reduce pelvic pain, regulate inflammation, support the nervous system, and improve quality of life when used alongside conventional medical care. 🌿
This month, we are advocating for earlier conversations, earlier diagnosis, and real support.
If you have been living with painful cycles or unexplained pelvic pain, let this be your sign to seek care. Your pain is not something you have to normalize. 🤍
