My approach has always been about treating the whole person, not just a diagnosis.

Over the past two decades, I’ve built my practice around personalized care that supports both emotional and physical well-being. I work with patients across many phases of life, from fertility and pregnancy to hormone health and long-term wellness, and I believe deeply in giving people practical tools so they can feel more informed, more supported, and more connected to their care.

In my practice, acupuncture is just one part of the bigger picture. I also incorporate custom herbal medicine, nutritional counseling, functional medicine, and stress and anxiety support to create a treatment plan that truly meets each patient where they are.

My goal is to bridge the best of Western Medicine with the wisdom of Eastern Medicine so my patients feel cared for in a way that is both comprehensive and personal. ✨

Many people do not realize that what they are experiencing day to day may be signs of a chronically dysregulated nervous system. Digestive issues, jaw and neck tension, back pain, fatigue, insomnia, overthinking, brain fog, low libido, pelvic floor dysfunction, and even getting sick often can all be connected to a body that has been stuck in fight or flight for too long. Acupuncture can help support nervous system repair by helping the body shift out of that stress pattern and back toward balance.

At Willow Tree Acupuncture & Wellness Clinic, this is a big part of how we support our patients. When the body begins to feel safe again, it can start doing what it is designed to do: rest, digest, repair, and heal.

If you have been feeling off, overwhelmed, tense, or like your body just cannot settle, it may be time to look at your nervous system more closely. ✨

Doing IVF? Acupuncture can be a meaningful part of the support team.

It does not replace IVF. It works alongside it.

Acupuncture is often used to support blood flow, regulate the nervous system, reduce stress, and help your body feel more supported through each phase of treatment, whether you are preparing for retrieval, heading into transfer, or moving through a frozen embryo cycle.

At Willow Tree Acupuncture & Wellness Clinic, we take an individualized approach to fertility care and meet you where you are in the process. IVF can ask a lot of you physically and emotionally. You deserve support that looks at the whole picture.

✨ If you’re preparing for IVF and want thoughtful, experienced support, we’d love to help.

I became a fertility acupuncturist because I saw how many women were suffering while still feeling like no one was looking at the full picture. They had appointments, specialists, and answers in pieces, but not always someone asking about sleep, digestion, stress, or how they were actually feeling day to day. That whole-person approach is what drew me to this work, and it is still how I care for my patients today.

I’ve been practicing here in Portland for 20 years, and I’m board certified in reproductive medicine. Even after all this time, I still believe one of the most important parts of this work is sitting down, listening closely, and understanding what your body has been trying to communicate.

If you’ve been looking for support that feels thoughtful, experienced, and rooted in the bigger picture, I’d love to welcome you into the clinic. ✨

Perimenopause and menopause affect far more than hot flashes and night sweats.

Hormonal changes during this stage of life can influence the nervous system, skeletal system, muscles, cardiovascular health, digestion, bladder function, sleep, mood, memory, and so much more. That is one of the reasons so many women feel like their body has changed in ways they were not fully prepared for.

If you have been feeling off and cannot quite explain why, it may be worth looking at the bigger picture. These shifts are not just in your head, and they are not limited to one or two symptoms.

At Willow Tree Acupuncture & Wellness Clinic, we support women through perimenopause and menopause with personalized care that looks at the whole body, not just one symptom at a time.

Your body is changing, but that does not mean you have to figure it out alone. ✨

When endometrial-like tissue grows outside the uterus, it can lead to inflammation, adhesions, lesions, and endometriomas. Over time, that can affect pelvic anatomy, ovarian function, egg quality, s***m transport, and implantation. For some women, it shows up as severe cramping or heavy cycles. For others, it may also become part of their fertility journey.

Painful periods should not be brushed off, especially when that pain starts affecting your daily life, cycle health, or ability to conceive.

At Willow Tree Acupuncture & Wellness Clinic, we support women with a personalized, root-cause approach that considers the full picture, from cycle health and inflammation to fertility and long-term reproductive wellness.

Your symptoms deserve attention, support, and real answers. ✨

Stress is not just emotional. It is physiological.

And when you are trying to conceive, physiology matters.

From follicular development to ovulation, from building a healthy uterine lining to implantation and progesterone support, every stage of the reproductive process depends on hormonal signaling, blood flow, and a regulated nervous system.

Chronic stress can disrupt LH surges, impact egg quality, thin the endometrium, reduce uterine blood flow, and interfere with progesterone production. That does not mean pregnancy is impossible. It means your body may need more support.

At Willow Tree, we look at the full picture. Nervous system regulation. Inflammation. Circulation. Hormone balance. 🌿

Fertility is not just about one lab value. It is about creating the right environment, cycle after cycle.

If you are in Portland and ready for a more comprehensive approach to fertility care, we are here to help.

March is Endometriosis Awareness Month πŸ’›

A time to talk about what so many women are quietly living with.

Endometriosis affects an estimated 1 in 10 women of reproductive age. That is nearly 190 million women worldwide. And yet, the average time to diagnosis is 7 to 10 years.

Seven to ten years of being told it is β€œjust cramps.”
Seven to ten years of missing work, canceling plans, navigating infertility, or pushing through pain that is not normal.

Endometriosis is a chronic inflammatory condition where tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus. It can cause severe pelvic pain, painful periods, pain with in*******se, digestive symptoms, and fertility challenges.

Acupuncture is not a cure. But research shows it may help reduce pelvic pain, regulate inflammation, support the nervous system, and improve quality of life when used alongside conventional medical care. 🌿

This month, we are advocating for earlier conversations, earlier diagnosis, and real support.

If you have been living with painful cycles or unexplained pelvic pain, let this be your sign to seek care. Your pain is not something you have to normalize. 🀍
