Helping turn breech babies is one of the ways we support mamas-to-be here at Willow Tree 🌿

Moxibustion is a traditional form of Chinese herbal medicine that involves burning mugwort near specific acupuncture points. In this case, Bladder 67, located near the outer corner of the pinky toe.

Here’s how I guide my patients through it:
✨ Hold the moxa stick close to the skin (about 1 inch away)
✨ Gently swirl or use the “sparrow pecking” motion for 10 minutes per side
✨ Repeat daily, especially when combined with acupuncture

This gentle heat nourishes the channels, supports energy flow, and helps create space for baby to move into optimal position safely and naturally.

A beautiful birth story 💛

This first-time mama came to Willow Tree with one big wish: to avoid a planned induction. Through a progressive series of treatments starting at week 36, we supported her body’s natural rhythm and helped her prepare for the birth she hoped for.

This big, healthy baby made their debut right before the due date, without induction and exactly how mom envisioned it.
