Welcome to the world Julian! Midwife Catherine gave birth at home on 1/22 and I (Sarah) got to catch this sweet baby. 💜 Catherine and Julian were lovingly supported in labor by friends and midwives and they are both doing well as they learn about this new life together. 💜

This cutie was feeling done with the appointment by the time we took this picture, but, before this, we were so happy to see them and their family thriving at their final postpartum visit! It was such a pleasure to get to know and care for this family through their pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

We felt so lucky to get to attend this beautiful homebirth recently. This first time parent worked through a very hard labor to bring this baby to the world! Surprise! Midwife Catherine is pregnant! Unfurling baby incoming winter, 2026. Our practice will be a little slower than usual in 2026, while Catherine takes some time for parental leave, but we’ll still be accepting repeat clients and a few others, so, don’t hesitate to reach out to us! We’re very excited to welcome this baby.

We were so sad to say goodbye for now to this sweet family, who we’ve had the pleasure of supporting through not one, but two, pregnancies, births, and postpartum experiences. We love to see families thriving at their final visit and to see how different it is for everyone the second time around.

We had the pleasure of taking care of this family since before they got pregnant, helping them with trying to conceive and then throughout the pregnancy and birth and beyond! It is always so sweet to get to see this whole process with a family and we are in awe about the ways this family is growing and changing and adapting even when things didn’t always go the way they were hoping.
