Safety Side Up is a proud Authorized Provider of EMS Safety & American Heart Association CPR/First Aid/AED programs & certifications; youth safety courses.

Safety Side Up is an organization that provides services to improve the overall health and safety of the community, seeking to make opportunities accessible to minority and other underserved populations. At present, SSU offers health and safety classes (i.e. CPR/First Aid, Babysitter Training and At Home Alone), as well as special interest workshops and events focused on positive youth development. We are a proud Authorized Delivery partner of American Heart Association and Kidproof programs.

Our Safe@Home by Safe Sitter® class at the Lloyd Center in Portland is perfect for kids ages 8–11. In this class, they’ll learn how to stay safe, handle emergencies, and gain confidence while home alone or without adult supervision.
