I’ve created a space for women where they feel seen and heard. Where there are no busy waiting rooms and appointments are unrushed.

A place where your symptoms aren’t brushed aside with “that’s just part of aging.”

In my clinic, we take the time to look deeper. We talk about your hormones, your metabolism, your sleep, your gut health, your stress, and the bigger picture of what’s actually going on in your body.

Perimenopause and menopause can bring so many changes — weight gain, brain fog, fatigue, joint pain, poor sleep, anxiety, and loss of libido. Too often women are told everything is “normal” or are given a quick prescription without anyone truly connecting the dots.

I believe women deserve better care than that.

My practice is designed to be different. Appointments are longer so we can really talk. We review labs thoroughly. We create personalized plans that may include hormone therapy, nutrition changes, metabolic support, and root-cause medicine.

My goal isn’t just symptom relief — it’s helping you feel strong, clear-minded, and vibrant again.

Because this stage of life shouldn’t feel like a slow decline. It can be a time of renewed health, confidence, and energy.

If you’ve been feeling dismissed, unheard, or like something just isn’t right with your body, you’re not alone — and there is another way to approach your health.

This message stopped me in my tracks this week.

After just ONE week, my patient shared:

• Sleeping solid
• Only waking once at night
• Fewer hot flashes
• Feeling real improvement

That’s it. That’s why I do this work.

Because when a woman who has been exhausted, dismissed, and told “this is just part of aging” finally sleeps through the night… that changes everything.

Better sleep isn’t just about feeling rested. It’s:
– More patience with your kids
– Better mood and emotional stability
– Improved metabolism
– Fewer cravings
– Lower inflammation
– More resilience to stress

And here’s what I love most: she’s also working on nutrition, making small sustainable changes, and building momentum. No crash diets. No extremes. Just steady progress.

This is what hormone optimization and metabolic support should feel like — supportive, personalized, and actually effective.

Women deserve care that works.
They deserve to feel heard.
They deserve to feel better.

Moments like this are exactly why I built my practice.

Cyclic Progesterone for Perimenopause: Why It’s Often the Missing Piece

Perimenopause isn’t an estrogen deficiency problem first.

It’s usually a progesterone fluctuation problem.

In the early and mid-40s (sometimes late 30s), many women are still making estrogen — sometimes quite a bit of it. What becomes inconsistent first is ovulation. And when ovulation becomes irregular, progesterone drops.

That imbalance — estrogen without steady progesterone — is what drives many of the symptoms women experience.

Common signs of low or fluctuating progesterone:
• Shortened cycles
• Heavy or clotty periods
• Breast tenderness
• Anxiety or internal restlessness
• Waking at 2–3am
• PMS that feels worse than it used to
• Irritability before your cycle
• Migraines before bleeding

Progesterone is calming to the brain.
It supports sleep.
It balances estrogen’s stimulation of the uterine lining.
It protects breast tissue.
It stabilizes mood.

When we use cyclic progesterone (rather than taking it every day), we mimic what the body naturally does in the luteal phase — typically days 14–28 in a cycling woman.

That can:
• Improve sleep
• Reduce anxiety and irritability
• Lessen heavy bleeding
• Decrease PMS symptoms
• Support cycle regularity

For women who are still having periods, cyclic dosing often makes more physiologic sense than continuous therapy.

Of course, dosing, timing, and delivery method matter — and not every woman needs the same approach. Labs, symptoms, and cycle patterns all guide the decision.

But if you’ve been told:
“Your labs are normal.”
“You’re too young for perimenopause.”
“Just wait it out.”

There may be another option.

Perimenopause is a transition — not a disorder.
And it deserves thoughtful, individualized care.

Menopause is finally getting more attention — but let’s be honest, the internet can be a noisy place. It’s hard to know what’s accurate, what’s trendy, and what actually applies to your body.

Join me on March 14th for a fun and educational event. I’ll cover:

• Early signs of perimenopause
• Why symptoms vary so widely between women
• What labs to ask for (and why they matter)
• Options for natural and medical hormone support
• How to reduce hot flashes, fatigue, anxiety, and brain fog
• How to support bone, muscle, brain, and metabolic health long-term
• How nutrition, gut health, stress, and blood sugar regulation impact how you feel
• How to advocate for yourself if you’ve ever felt dismissed in medical care

This is designed to be practical, clear, and empowering. No fear. No fluff. Just straightforward guidance.

It’s being held locally at my office, and the entry cost is just $5

If you’re interested, I’d love to see you there. You can find the details and register on my website or in my link in bio.

As women approach perimenopause and menopause, an important physiologic shift happens — muscle protein synthesis slows.

Estrogen and testosterone both play key roles in how efficiently your body:
• Builds muscle
• Repairs muscle
• Maintains lean mass

As these hormones decline, the body becomes less responsive to the same workouts that once worked. Muscle is harder to build and easier to lose — even when you’re exercising regularly.

This is why many women notice:
• Loss of strength despite consistent workouts
• A slower metabolism
• Increased fatigue after exercise
• Weight gain that doesn’t respond to more cardio

Here’s the part most women were never told:

More cardio isn’t the answer.

Without intentional resistance training, declining muscle protein synthesis leads to muscle loss, lower metabolic rate, and worsening insulin resistance.

Midlife exercise isn’t about burning more calories —
It’s about stimulating muscle protein synthesis.

What actually works:
✔️ Prioritizing strength training
✔️ Eating adequate protein
✔️ Allowing proper recovery
✔️ Supporting hormones when appropriate

If exercise suddenly feels harder or less effective, you’re not broken —
your physiology has changed.

Train smarter. Build muscle. Support your hormones.

Healthy eating doesn’t need to be complicated to be effective.

One of the biggest reasons people fall off track isn’t motivation—it’s overthinking. When meals feel elaborate or time-consuming, consistency breaks down fast.

Try this instead:
• Cook your protein the night before (chicken, steak, fish, tofu—whatever works)
• Pack fresh or frozen vegetables
• Add a simple fat or sauce if you want
• Call it a day

That’s it.

When meals are easy, they’re repeatable.
When they’re repeatable, they become consistent.
And consistency—not perfection—is what actually moves health, hormones, blood sugar, and weight in the right direction.

Simple works.
Boring works.
Sustainable always wins.

Relaxation Isn’t a Luxury — It’s a Biological Need

In a world that glorifies hustle, relaxation often feels optional.
But your nervous system disagrees.

When you don’t allow time to truly unwind, your body stays stuck in fight-or-flight. Over time, that constant “on” state impacts nearly every system:

• Hormone imbalance
• Poor sleep
• Weight resistance
• Blood sugar dysregulation
• Digestive issues
• Increased inflammation
• Anxiety and burnout

Relaxation is how your body switches into rest-and-repair mode — the state where healing actually happens.

This is when:
• Cortisol can come back into balance
• Insulin sensitivity improves
• Digestion and gut repair turn on
• S*x hormones regulate more smoothly
• Your brain finally exhales

And no — relaxation doesn’t have to mean doing nothing for hours.

It can look like:
• Slow, nasal breathing
• Gentle movement or stretching
• A quiet walk outside
• Intentional rest without screens
• Red light therapy or sauna
• Going to bed earlier (consistently)

Especially for midlife women, rest is not weakness — it’s strategy.

Your body doesn’t heal when you push harder.
It heals when you create safety.

If you’ve been feeling wired, exhausted, or stuck — your nervous system may be asking for permission to slow down.

✨ Healing begins when the body feels safe enough to rest.

Ever wondered why your cholesterol suddenly climbs during perimenopause or menopause… even if nothing else has changes?

Cholesterol isn’t just something your doctor measures. It’s actually the raw material your body uses to make hormones—like estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone.”

When estrogen drops, the liver becomes less efficient at clearing LDL… so LDL cholesterol naturally rises. This is a normal physiological shift, not a personal failure. And because cholesterol is the precursor for s*x hormones, your body may increase production as it tries to compensate for declining estrogen.”

This is why hormone optimization, reducing insulin resistance, and lifestyle support matter more than ever.”
