Mold isn’t as rare as we think, and it’s not always obvious.
It can grow behind walls, under floors, or anywhere moisture lingers. For some kids, mold acts as a constant stressor on the nervous system, making it harder for their bodies to regulate and heal.
Parents often notice:
❌ Symptoms that don’t fully resolve
❌ Kids stuck in fight-or-flight
❌ Sleep, immunity, or behavior struggles that don’t add up
One big clue?
Things improve when you’re away from home.
Sometimes healing stalls not because care isn’t working, but because a hidden environmental stressor is still there.
