Emma is loyal, courageous, a girls girl, a naturally born leader, truly inspired by spiritual work, a free spirit. Emma will continue living in steps 8-12, a true testament of faith without works is dead.

That “thread” - the quiet knowing, the inner compass, the thing you hold onto even when life feels uncertain - that’s what keeps people going. It’s not always visible to others. Sometimes it’s hard to explain. But it’s there.

Life doesn’t stop being life. There are still hard days, loss, change, growth. But when you stay connected to that thread, you don’t lose yourself in it.

Colleen serves as our Clinical Program Manager at Maine Recovery Collective, bringing both her lived experience and deep passion for helping women heal.

Previously serving as a Program Coordinator and House Manager, Colleen built a strong foundation in fostering connection, accountability, and growth. Today, she helps create an environment where women feel valued, empowered, and inspired to embrace lasting change.

We are so grateful to have Colleen as part of the collective and for the care and encouragement she brings to our community each day.

The women of Aletheia House had the opportunity to attend “I Am an Impossible Thing”, conceived and performed by Heather Stewart with the Little House Dance Company.

The performance explored the marks left behind by addiction and recovery, reminding us that the places that once felt like dead ends can sometimes become the very places where the world begins to open up.

Grateful for art that reflects the courage, complexity, and possibility of recovery. ✨
