QUAD Inc.’s mission is to fulfill the dream that one day every person with a physical disability will have access to affordable housing, be enabled to achieve personal independence, and enjoy a life without barriers. A $5,000 grant will support QUAD Inc.’s programs of barrier-free, low-cost housing and 24/7 supportive services that support and promote the independence of adults living with physical disabilities throughout the Portland metro. Funding will be used towards QUAD's resident services program and will fund community health activities including community outings, resident community garden work, and resource workshops to better serve individuals living with physical disabilities.

Calling All Gardeners - Volunteers Needed!

Spring has sprung, which means it is time for our residents to prepare their community garden beds. However, we just need one thing... your help! Quad Inc. and our residents are looking for volunteers to help us with weeding, mulching, and planting seeds in our community garden beds so we can have another successful year. We will host garden cleanup days at four of our buildings.

The garden cleanup days will take about two to four hours depending on how many volunteers sign up. Expect to get your hands dirty (unless you would like to bring gloves) along with some laughs and a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, including our residents.

We are accepting applications for our barrier-free and affordable studio, one and two-bedroom units. Our buildings are located in North Portland, East Portland, Gresham and Hillsboro.

Our communities at Quad Inc. help us continue our efforts in serving people living with physical disabilities in the Portland metro through the provision of barrier-free, low-cost housing and 24/7 shared attendant care services. Last night Quad Inc. residents, staff, friends and family gathered at the Moda Center to sell 5050 raffle tickets and fundraise for Quad during the Portland Trail Blazer game. We sold over $7,500 in raffle tickets, fundraising close to $2,000 for Quad.

Thank you to the Portland Trail Blazers and our community members in supporting our mission!

Quad Inc. was awarded $5,000 from the City of Gresham's Community Enhancement Grant! ​

Our community enhancement funds were used to improve the outdoor spaces of our Central Station Apartments building. We added new garden beds and a garden shed to support our resident community garden efforts. We also made landscaping improvements with the addition of new trees and native plants around the property to bring pollinators to our gardens.

We are excited to see our residents get good use out of the garden beds and outdoor spaces at Central Station. Thank you to the City of Gresham!

Rumor alert! We’ve heard that there’s a rumor going around that EBT cards are being “shut off” due to the federal government shutdown. This is NOT true.

You can still use any SNAP benefits already on your EBT card. If the federal government shutdown continues into November, new SNAP benefits will be delayed. But any unused SNAP benefits on your EBT card from previous months will stay on your card until you use them or they expire (about one year from when they were issued).

If your EBT card isn’t working, check your balance online at https://ebtedge.com to make sure you still have funds available.
