A call for support from Mr. Murray: Our ski club has run for seven years in a row but we’ve never seen this level of interest from students that will need full scholarships. This caused a major budget problem but represents a great opportunity for more people of color and youth living near poverty to learn to snow ski. Pleasant Mountain has provided one scholarship which is excellent. If I do not raise $2,550 by next Tuesday I will randomly select from the eight (so far) students who’ve indicated they would need a full scholarship. The kids will be alright if they aren’t in the club but you can’t imagine how excited I will be to be able to include all who are interested. Thank you!
