Sending an SOS to all you knitters and crochets out there - we're pretty much out of b***s!

Our knitted breasts are used by our volunteers and staff at our local services to help support families. They are so important to how we work as they make our hands-off approach to support so much easier for parents and supporters.

They can be used:

- To demonstrate positioning and attachment
- To explain how babies latch on
- For mums to show us where they have pain or discomfort
- To show how mums with different breast / ni**le shape and sizes can breastfeed
- To explain how to hand-express
- and so much more!

Can you knit or crochet, or do you know someone who can? We're so grateful for any volunteers willing to make us some b***s!

We can cover expenses for the cost of wool, stuffing, packaging and postage 🧶

We're looking for different shapes, sizes and colours - these can be different skin tones, or any other random colour combination❤️💛💚🩵💙💜

The knitted b***s need to go out in pairs to be able to demonstrate positioning and attachment on different shapes and sizes of breast. These pairs don't have to match.

Anyone who names a method after themselves when it comes to breastfeeding support is best avoided in my experience!

It often means that they are suggesting something that isn't evidence based .....
