Perimenopause doesnāt always start in your 40s.
For many women, it begins quietly in their late 30s. Thatās when it started for me. But my labs didnāt clearly show it and doctors werenāt expecting it yet, so I spent years trying to figure out why my body suddenly felt different.
More exhausted. More reactive to stress. Harder to recover.
Eventually I hit rock bottom burnout.
What I didnāt understand then was how much the nervous system and perimenopause work together, and how the way we train, recover, and handle stress needs to change during this transition.
Even after 20 years as a trainer, no one ever taught this.
Perimenopause can last 5 to 7 years, and what we do during this time can completely shape how we feel in the second half of life.
Thatās why Iām running free workshops to teach women what I wish I had known.
If youāre in your late 30s and your body suddenly feels different, youāre not crazy and youāre not alone.
