The SHINING 3D scanner works for customized prostheses, ankle-foot orthoses, AND scoliosis braces, all with the same degree of speed and accuracy. It seems like the only thing it can't do is make a cup of coffee. Thanks so much to the team for coming in and showing us this amazing bit of tech!

Juan Pablo Dos Santos lost both his legs in 2019. This year, he entered the New York Marathon. It was a true test of his spirit and determination. He had to throw himself to the ground every 100 steps, remove his prostheses, and dry his liners in order to prevent his skin from breaking. Every step got more painful and every kilometer that passed felt like 3.

But he never quit. And after 15 hours of pain and perseverance, he crossed the finish line.
