History was made this weekend, as dozens of athletes from across 17 states turned out for the inaugural New England Amputee Open Cup! The goal of the program is to strengthen the national player pipeline and create more consistent opportunities for athletes to compete at a high level.

Peter has been with us since 2001, after receiving some not-so-great advice about whether or not he should amputate his leg. This has made him acutely aware of the challenges facing new amputees, and is why he's one of our Amputee Peers!
