Back in Maine after a week in Florida at the prestigious Pankey Institute. Feeling so much gratitude for those I get to learn from and with. From early mornings to late nights, it’s all worth it to be able to better help our patients.

This week I completed the final course of the advanced Essentials Curriculum, something that only 65 dentists in the world will complete each year!

Alginate impressions instead of our trusty ? We wouldn't last a day!

In reality, it's always good to keep those skills in our back pockets but digital dentistry is our preferred method of patient care. Here's why it's so cool 👇🏼

⭐ For Patients

Comfort: No more trays full of gooey alginate that can trigger gagging, mess, or discomfort. Scanners use a small wand that takes quick images.

Accuracy: Digital scans are more precise, reducing the chance of errors like bubbles, tears, or distortions in the impression.

Speed: Scans can be completed in minutes and don’t require retakes as often.

Visualization: Patients can actually see a 3D image of their teeth on the screen, which helps them better understand treatment recommendations.

Since moving into the new office we are fully digital and we wouldn't have it any other way for our patients!
