Re**al balloon training is a specialized pelvic floor physical therapy technique used to improve re**al sensation, coordination, and control. A small balloon is gently inserted and inflated to help retrain how the re**um and pelvic floor communicate with the brain.

It can help treat:
✔️ Chronic constipation and straining
✔️ F***l incontinence or urgency
✔️ Difficulty sensing stool or the urge to go
✔️ Dyssynergic defecation (muscles contract when you want them to relax)
✔️ Incomplete emptying

Training focuses on learning when to relax, when to engage, and how to respond appropriately to re**al sensations—without force or strain.

This approach is evidence-based, patient-guided, and always done with consent, education, and care. If bowel symptoms are impacting your daily life, support is available. 💛

Care should be individualized, gentle, and focused on what your body needs. And you deserve providers who understand hypermobility

Pelvic floor therapy can help by:

✔️ Improving pelvic floor relaxation and the ability to let go, so pee/poop can be released.
✔️ Addressing difficulties with coordinating muscles to bear down
✔️ Teaching effective, strain-free bowel mechanics (using your breathing!)
✔️ Reducing pelvic and abdominal pain
✔️ Supporting nervous system regulation and gut-brain connection

If you’ve been through countless tests and are told to “just eat more fiber” but symptoms persist, it may be time to look at how your muscles are working—not just what you’re eating.

GI symptoms are common—but they’re not something you have to live with. Support exists, and your body deserves it. 💛

Give us a call or send a DM if you are wondering whether pelvic PT can help YOU.

Visceral mobilization is a gentle, hands-on technique used in pelvic floor therapy to improve the mobility of the organs and the connective tissues that support them. When organs don’t move well—due to surgery, inflammation, trauma, or chronic tension—it can contribute to pain, pressure, and dysfunction.

This work is subtle, individualized, and always guided by your comfort. Small changes in mobility can make a big difference in how your body feels and functions.

Give us a call if you want to know if visceral mobilization can help with your symptoms:
