As a Licensed Massage Therapist with over a decade of experience, I have worked with thousands of people and their bodies. I practice techniques from Advanced Myofascial Release, Japanese Shiatsu, Swedish Massage and Manual Lymphatic Drainage, and Biodynamic Cranial Sacral, and Yoga Therapeutics. I specialize in working with people that have complicated medical histories and illnesses like cancer, MS, ALS, addiction, trauma, mastectomy, pregnancy, postpartum anxiety and depression, and generalized anxiety disorders. My hope is that we can work together to assist your body in its healing process while easing your way.

I teach the power of the breath in my therapy sessions.

My patients and I practice circular breathing-inhaling and transporting the breath down to fill your belly, expand the rib cage and then broaden the chest, and an exhale with the mouth open emptying the abdomen first and then the chest. This all happens slowly and with intention and support. This breath practice can induce a parasympathetic response in the body-“rest and digest” mode. This is where the healing happens. ❤️‍🩹

This is body, mind and spirit medicine. ❤️‍🩹 I treat people on their worst days and their best days for all kinds of ailments. Massage can help move blood to hydrate and heal tissues. When we massage the body we encourage new oxygenated blood that carries new nutrients to heal parts of the body that may be in need. Massage gives your body a healing boost—it’s already working its magic each day. Connecting with your body through safe touch helps ease the mind and supports parasympathetic rest. Safe touch in a safe place nourishes the spirit into lightness and a general sense of well-being. 💯

Mamas can start binding right after birth. Healers recommend 2 - 5 days after birth for 6-12 hours a day. If you are recovering from a C-section, then you want to wait until to your incision is healed (6-8 weeks after birth). It takes about five minutes to bind. Check out online tutorials to learn how to bind.

I bought my BengKung bind from .wisteria and learned how to bind from their online YouTube videos. I started binding seven days after birth, and I wear the bind for six hours a day when I remember to do it! I didn’t bind after my first baby, but now I am learning so many more ways to take care of my self postpartum. I have a whole year of postpartum healing planned ahead to make sure that I feel good and to promote longevity to be the Mama I want to be for my babies.

For all my pregnant mamas and their caregivers THIS book is a great resource on how to nourish the mother after birth for her longevity and replenishment ! 🍲

Thanks to my sister friends Christina Provencio and Lara Pacheco W for their presence and love when recreating some of these recipes including Oxtail Stew for the blood, Mushroom broth for an immune boost, Oats and Chia Congee Cups for digestion, and Chicken, Red Dates and Ginger Soup for many, many postpartum benefits! I have recommended this book to many new mamas that I treat for prenatal massage, and I have witnessed a shared inspiration and confidence to care for oneself in this vulnerable time with such sweet, slow tenderness and nourishment for herself and baby.
