To me yoga feels a lot like a hike…
It’s not always about the destination. For me it’s simply about being in the experience, the steadiness of my breath, the rhythm of each step, how my thoughts get quieter and quieter.
Yes, some hikes lead to breathtaking views, but if you’re honest, the real magic is often on the way back out.
Something in you has shifted, even just a little. Your body feels lighter.Your breath comes easier.Your thoughts are finally still.
It’s the same trail… the same trees…but you’re seeing it all from a new angle.
The downhill feels easier on the body. There’s a knowing, I did the thing I set out to do.
And then… that sweet moment of taking off your hiking boots, that full body exhale.
It’s a little like savasana.
The joy isn’t just in where you’re going, it’s in the doing, the noticing, the letting go that happens along the way.
Tonight’s 5:30 class is an invitation to move through your practice just like that.No rush. No pressure. Just one breath, one shape at a time.
I’ll meet you on the mat 🤍
