Today we celebrate World Down Syndrome Day! 💙💛 (3/21 - representing the THREE copies of chromosomes 21). 🎉

You might notice people wearing bright, bold, mismatched - or just plain silly - socks. 🤪🧦 That’s because chromosomes are shaped like tiny socks! 🧬 It’s a fun way to start conversations, raise awareness, and celebrate uniqueness. 🤩

Different is beautiful. 😍 Different is powerful. 💪🏻 And today (and every day), we celebrate inclusion, kindness, and the amazing individuals in the Down syndrome community. 🥳

So go ahead and - pull on your silliest socks and wear them proudly! 👍🏻😁🙌🏻

Cordelia graduated from Pacific University with her doctorate in OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY!!! 🎓

She is passionate about providing family-centered care 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒, sensory integration 💚, and supporting self-regulation 🧘.

Outside of Pace she loves spending time hiking 🥾, skiing⛷️ , and hanging with her cat, Hank 🐈‍⬛!
