Welcome to 2026!

Come celebrate plants with me! First Wednesday of the month 7-830pm join me for tea time, medicinal tastings, conversation, and meditation focusing on a new plant each month!
Some of the plants we celebrated in 2025 were Violet, Rose, Calendula, Hops, Elecampane, and most recently Rosemary. Its a lovely gathering of folks at the beautiful Briarpatch Herbal Apothecary, taking an evening to slow down and immerse ourselves in the frequency of a particular plant and its virtues, please join us!

Its time to gather ingredients!

The weather’s cooling, and the kids are back in school, which means lots of exposure to all the germs. 🙃 One of my favorite ways to keep our immune systems strong this time of year is with a big pot of homemade herbal chai.

Last year I kept this recipe simmering on the stove all winter long, and my kids loved it. (Honestly? They picked it over hot chocolate. That’s how good it is!) The best part is that it’s not just tasty, it’s packed with immune-boosting herbs that warm the body and support wellness through the fall and winter months.

And don’t worry, this one’s totally caffeine-free, so the whole family can enjoy it. 💛

This recipe makes the house smell amazing while it simmers, and it feels like the ultimate fall hug in a cup. 🧡
